alright guys i’ve got myself an overland and i’m haveing a few problems driving straight (no i’m not just a shit driver lol).
alright what happens is it has a tendency to go right. It doesnt matter if the wheels are straight or off to the left or right it just goes to the right
any ideas on what may be causing it, i though it might be the left hand wheel over powering the right but i’m not sure
i’ve check there’s nothing cought around any of the axles and that that all wheels are tightend equally -

12A RX2 (nice car :D)
ok gear rear diff and no bearings could contribute also make sure to get the steering trim straight (drive it up and down twaking it each time till its straight) -

1) do both front wheels spin equally?
2) remove the OL diff and inspect it, the gear diff may have crap in it causing it to not transfer the power equall between left and right rear wheels.
3) do the wheels wobble? this can cause the symptoms you describe
ph2t.

checked 1 and 2, and both are fine
but yes the wheels wobble, mailnly the front one’s the whole car actualy feels loose, especialy the front end it wobbles from side to side quite an amount which i think may cause this. i’ve gone over the car and cant find any loose parts.
could this just be somthing the overland’s do? -

Hey 12A RX2,
Two things !!! (One off topic)
1, If you haven’t already! (and I assume you haven’t) Put a bearing kit
through it !! It will fix most of your probs … The monster I had did the
same thing. I put bearings in it and it was perfect !!! I got bord waiting for
the front wheels to stop spinning after I spun them !!! hehe2, I see your a rota head hay !! Same here, Although it’s been about 4 years
since I’ve owned one !!! I made a promise to myself when I sold my last one
that I would not buy another till I could get a S6 RX7 (I’m still
waiting!!) … :smiley7: My last rota was a s1 RX2 sedan with a 12A turbo
in it which I built from a bare shell !!! It was a sad day the day it
went !!! 🙁Here’s a pic of it how I got it !!! and yeah thats an RX3 coupe in the back
ground. (look close!!)
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/RCS2DIE4/My%20RX2/whenIgotit.jpgAnd after about 6 months of hard labour !!! (still not 100% complete in this pic! about 98%)
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/RCS2DIE4/My%20RX2/Side.jpg
hmm I’ll have to rescan that pic in one day !!!Hay also, I have a set of plates for sale for any 12A powered car !!! they
say 12A spelt TWLV A there black on yellow plates !!! They never went on
the car either so there in brand new condition !!! PM us if ya interested !!!L8R
