not 100% sure but it’s considerable.
double check the tutorial at http://www.woahnelly.com/
i think you need at least a 3 x 2 stack of good fets to cope with it. or a nelly or a spider:topstuff: :8ball: -

Yes I know…but I need a more or less precise value(..4-5 A instead of 7-8 for example)to check if the max discharge rate of cells I found(lipo) is enough
I know that stock 27K of xmods draws 4,5 A at full throttle…if plasmatomic is bigger…?For speed controller I’m gouing tu build a 4X2 or better I’ll buy an external…

This is a quote from a motor test thread ph2t posted on a forum, it may exist on this site but it was easier for me to find it where I already knew it was.
“the mzw 28t motor is 0.9A no load @ 2.4V, the plasmatomic is 1.3-1.5A no load @ 2.4V “
Couldn’t find any statements regarding ‘load’ conditions.
If you are using 7.4V 10C(6Amp) Li-Poly’s though you should be fine, but I also suggest using a Nelly over fet stacking. -

Thanks!
As I was thinking the lipo I found weren’t enough,max discharge was 2c(and 650 mAhit’s the capacity…)

Max discharge of 2C for 650mAh capacity gives you a rating of (approx) 1.3A. Not enough, the plasmatomic will draw up to 8A on a 7.4V setup under load (ie: from takeoff)…..

Thanks!
Another question…
The Plasma motor is declared by Tamiya a 25K rpm:how can it become more powerfull than RS 30k that works,or should work(never tried)with stock EB,just adding a bearing?
Thanks!

That’s most likely 25K RPM at 2.4V (2 x AA batteries as intended for Mini-4WD). Put 4 x AAA’s (4.8V) = lost more RPMS!!!!!
