I have a question and hope someone can help me. I bought the 120mAH from QFM. I got a very good run time of more than 20 min at the first time of double chargeing for 90 sec.
However, the running time reduce to 7 to 8 min subsequenctly after the new battery being used, let say from the second double charge.
Can any bit-char experienced car owner give me some idea? Is the battery they sell defective? I actually got 2 batteries from QFM, and both of them happened the same case.

Have you made sure you have good batteries in your controller. If they are weak it will not charge the battery fully

uA 🙂First, I also thought of this issue. So I changed it with new batteries, and charged it for 180 min, just for a 8 min run time.
I am just wondering if you have the same case, if not, can you tell me where you bought the battery. I bought it from QFM, http://www.questformadness.com/, at that time they only sold the 120mah battery just before the X’mas.
Once again, the first 2 times was very good, the run time was more than 20 min. I was so satisfied. However, it dramatically dropped to around 7 to 8 min afterward. Eventhough I charged it for 180 min, it only reached around 8 min.
Does anyone have the same case? Or do you think they are defective?

I hope you meant 180 seconds (180 mins would kill it)
Anyway,
This may sound really really really stupid, but……. are you sure that the new battery is in the right way??
The plus (positive) end goes to the right (looking at the car from behind). If this is a definite yes, which I am assuming it is, try replacing it with the original battery and give it a charge to see if everything is still ok
I have no idea what would happen if the new battery was reverse charged. I would think this would lead to an early demise.

I am sure the battery is put correctly, ’cause the first run time was more than 20 min, then dropped to 7 min. And I tried to replace a new battery in the control not the car’s one. I charged the car for 3 consecutive charge, and I got only 3 mins….it’s so strange, isn’t it?Anyway, thanks for your help?
