A couple of people have bugged me about the quad cell. It s back, but I m waiting on a peak flow charger and a few other things until I run it. Sorry, but I don t want to risk frying something again. I ll let you know now that UA boasts an incredible 15 mph from his dyno testing. And to think, that with all the pop-ups in the world, a basic BCG only goes about 2~3 mph. All props must go to MA on this one. He s the one that made it function correctly. I think I was jinxed or something.
Can t wait to get this thing on the digital speed checker, as well as on the open track. The other cars in the box are shacking and not getting much sleep.
Just an update for everybody, it s a;
1. internal quad cell 1/4 nimh
2. double stacked fets (ua added that)
3. the wiring has also somehow been hardend (not literally), although I can t really tell you how MA did that. It s for increased current.
4. 27 mhz tomy 2 speed (ma replaced the previously fried one)
5. zip-zap chassis
6. black ZZ firebird
Will be doing a wheel mod for a 3:1 gearing. Kinda want to keep the same gold ZZ rims.
