I have a first series compact char g skyline and a 2nd series compact char g RSXr. I put the rsx motor in my skyline (i think its a 2.2 replacing a 1.0). This morning i put the entire rear axle from my RSX into my skyline and vice versa. My skyline goes so fast it rolls when u turn it. Dont quote me on that but i think it makes a differnce.
Any one else done that:question:

I bought one a KMART last weekend. Theres an rx 7, supra, NSXr and a celica.
the new series is way faster, and they sometimes roll

Maybee they are being release with the tomy 3.0 motor. Hmmmm when I ‘ad a look at ’em in KMART yesterday they still seem to have the yellow 2.2’s in them…….. All the Compact I have bought to date have a 2.2………..

I know, but when i bought my first char g (blue skyline) it was alot slower than my new NSXr. I have know idea what the engines are because they are both yellow at the end caps. When sum 1 buys 1 i need their verdict!

IS the gearing on the rear axles the same colour? Different colours stand for different ratios…

The series 2 Compact char-gs are same as first ones except the shells. but i found out that the 2.2 motors can have big differences sometimes.

Yeah, the gearing, the motors and evry thing is the same colour. Im not sure if its a big difference but the faster motor seems to be ‘VER SLIGHTLY’ a pale yellow where the skyline motor is a darker yellow. Its nearly impossible to see.
