what ever you do, don’t use nail polish remover. i found out the hard way! it starts to soak into the plastic, turning it into gooey mush!:sad:http://members.ausmicro.com/memberview.asp?user=betty.k

I’ve read a few times that the foamy part of oven cleaner will remove the pain, but leave the plastic intact. I have never tried it, nor seen it tried, so wait until you have confirmation from someone you trust that it works, or try it on a cheap clone body first.

OK Merc, I was speaking to a guy at work who contracts cleaners for Telstra payphones (nice plug) – and he said the cleaners use a citrus based solvent on the perspex sides. He also said Aeroguard took paint off without clouding a clear surface. For both methods use a very small amount and lots of elbow grease – and DaveF is spot on, try it on scraps first.

Have you tried this stuff? Did it cloud the plastic? Have you tried nail polish remover? If nail polish remover is just as good (or bad) I will try it (or not).
