      I have several loose pcbs floating around, if I desolder all the little transistors, and stack them on one of my good boards, say 2 or 3 high, will there be a noticable improvement? Anybody tried this?

      well, I did it but it did not work, no better performance or whatever, everyting was the same.
      Best mod is the fet mod !!
