I m not to sure where this goes, it s a 1/18 scale, but mods, please move this post where you find suitable.
I got a mini t the other day, and it s a great little truck. 1/18, mini replica of the xxx-t. Shocks are adjustable via shock clips, and there are all kinds of upgrades for them, or there are some comming out anyway. here are a few things
oil shocks
motors
gpm has a crapload of alloy parts (nearly every part…)
wheels
tires
bocies
MIP CVD s
ball bearings
and other upgrades are bound to comeJust a heads up, but the stock servo is crap, undertorqued, and most are faulty out of the box. I suggest replacing it with an hs81mg servo, new eletronics, and a speed 370 arm and magnets (they drop straight in the stock motorcase). There are a lot of people runnign 280BB s and brushless setups. I ll give this little truck one thing, it is durable, I highly doubt you will break something. The stock battery holder will hold 4 AA s, and it s way too slow, pop in a 6 AAA pack, and your ready for some action. It can do wheelies stock, but I dunno if the gears will hold up. I dunno if they are available yet in australia, but at $150 USD they are a pretty good buy for that you get.

Haven’t seen it down here yet, Aggy.
It will be interesting how US$150 translates to, in AUD. -

You wouldn’t use a 85 in a monster truck. At my LHS I’d be lucky to get a HS81 for $90, so to me, that would be digital for free.
I’ll grant you that it’s intended for use in small planes and helis, but I don’t feel it’s overkill for a micro if you can get one for that price.
