      What are these?

They look kinda cool for the price. 6 way rc, 2 speeds…and a ‘free’ pack of 4xAA rechargeables.

      USD$12.90 at rcmart.

these are just big bits. non propo (apart from the “booster pcb”), and they have swapable gears and i think motors too. they’re as tuneable as a bit but without the 1:64 appeal:8ball:

…the bodies are pretty good…a little brittle but not bad…not as detailed as a Z but again not bad…the price is VERY good 🙂 Anyway you will see what i mean when you get it…I am sure one of the techs would be able to hop it up to a serious level once thye gave one a lobotomy 🙂 I got the orange demio body…

yeah i was looking at the demio its not to bad though the legacy body will more than likely be for my MZMonster depending on how much modding i will have to do to the car itself maybe a iwaver heart transplant might work not sure till i see it

I just got one too… and am actually pretty happy with it (for the $).
I kinda like the weird steering setup where you hold left/right and it turns tighter and tighter. Pity the TX is such junk.

Priest – Did you get the Odyssey and the Legacy? Any luck with fitting the body onto a Z? Pics please 🙂

I think the March will fit a Z without much modding – it’s just sitting on my iwaver in this pic, but it would be easy to make some clips to hold it on properly.

      Looks tuff hey 😀

I gather from the lack of other threads on Tomitech stuff that they aren’t worth buying?
Alot of ebay ads say they’re about 180mm long, this makes them about 1/24 scale (comparing with my 1/24 Tamiya R32 model).
Pity if they are junk – cos I spotted the Legacy wagon too..

they’re not junk, just feature less.
they’re non propo so that makes them like palm runners or large bits.

but if you see a body you like just mod it to fit a mini z 😉 :8ball:

Even with the non propo steering they’re kinda cool, but it’s the crappy body that they’re worth buying for. The plastic is coloured (not painted), so they’re good for bashing. And they look pretty cute too – the Micra does anyway… Fits on a Z with very minor mods.

They’re toys, but the bodies can be converted to Mini-Z duty with the addition of clips etc

Overall they are something that’s “cool” if you just want the old-school kids R/C around the house, or as a donor body they’re pretty damn cheap.
