      just wanna know what everyone REALLY wants for christmas or knows what they are getting from santa this year, might be helpfull sharing some ideas for people who cant think of any thing else except christmas socks. think of this as a kind of a whats hot and whats not topic this festive season.

      I m getting Trumpeter’s 1200 part 1/35 scale Leopold railgun :approve: maybe a Yokomo Sonic if they’re out in time, otherwise maybe an Overland.

      Which piece do you want ? Personally I don t see any economic sense in peace. 👿
      I still want to know if Tamiya’s railgun is some sort of RC, or if it is a real railgun.

      Trash, the Trumpeter rail gun is a 1200 part model kit, box weighs 4kg, in 1/35 scale it s about a metre long.

      I plan on towing it behind a R/C train (still running on tracks – R/C just for throttle), and possibly converting it to a carbide cannon with a machined barrel. Hard to comment on how likely this is until I get it. If I decide it’s too hard (like the firing loads being too much for such a detailed model), I’ll build a small cannon into a gondolla.

      Sounds like an interesting project.
      There are plenty of people who ll machine barrels for you and give you the data of pressure levels etc.
      How do you load and fire it ?
