Xmod steering resistor – how?

      It s about time I fixed up my xmod steering – can anyone point me to a tutorial or give me some info on how to do the resistor mod to decrease the turning circle?

      the pictures are explanation enough really. all you do is remove the brown and orange wires from the servo pot and add a 4.7 – 10k resistor to each one and resolder. the attached pic is my modded servo. you can use much smaller resistors than these, down to 1/8 of a watt:8ball:

      works well, I did it last night using two 8.2K surface mount resistors. you also need to shave the tie rod down in the area’s shown on ikinari’s page.

      also you should shave 1-2mm off the servo thingy, when fully turned to the right, the white thing hits the diff…
