Myfriend and I areplanning to get a Yokomo micro RC. I havent seen one in person yet, but have seen a video, and it looks legit. Does anybody know if they are worth getting or not? I cant find anyone who has one, or even a review anywhere online. Anybody know anything about em?

There are pics of it in my link below, in case you may have seen one but didnt know the name of it. Thanks. any help or opinions are appreciated, as they would cost us $99 dollars each, and I would hate to spend $100 bucks to find out they suck.

I came across that video a long time ago from the http://www.yokomo.co.jp site. Its no longer there unfortunately. I did send it to my friend Mick (the other guy who wants to buy one). You can email him and ask if he can send it to ya. He runs the toy stompers collectibles site ( http://www.stomper4x4.com ). I think its about 600kb if im not mistaken. Its just a video of the car on a snaky desktop race course. It showcases the digital proportional speed control and steering.

I found the yokomo video. Its 4.5mb. I dont think it can be found anymore on the yokomo site, as I just searched the site for it. Soive uploaded it temporarily here, but I can only keep it up for a short time bec my ISP limits our maximum bandwidth usage and I dont want to reach my monthly quota too quickly… So grab it now, and then pass it around. Sorry for the inconvenience.

how big are these yokomo cars? the epoch indoor racers can be found on ebay for like 50 bucks shipped in the supra and gt-r skyline types. bodies are available and wheels and light kits. they go like 300km/h which would be around 7-10 mph i guess scale wise since it’s a 1/43 car. the size of two dbl a batteries end to end. with a normal remote with a side wheel like the 1/10 scale rtr’s have. looks pretty cool

the yokomo cars are supposed to be 1/60. they only come in the honda van form right now. the toyota (not sure which style) is the next one to come (waiting for that).
