      I was having a look around a few other sites today and noticed
      some serious R&D going on. A lot of it happening here in Australia.
      I was amazed ! I’ve only been playing with mini/micro RC’s for
      about 3 months and in most of that time I’ve been away working.

      After a quick look around I noticed there wasn’t much info on what some of you guys do for work.
      ph2t and micro_amps got my attention, some of the stuff you guys are designing and building is off the scale !

      So, “Who’s your daddy and what’s he do ?”

      lol, and you had to edit that one!

      I’m a Network Administrator at a major manufacturing company.

      I did an EE degree at Monash but so far the only real application has been these cars, and that’s incredibly sad……

      yeah, I’m on a shitty dialup, on a compressed audio phone line on ATM over a satellite link.
      I’m not sure what happened when I sent it.
      dialup dropped out right at the instant.

      i work in hospitality at a bar,

      i play with micros to avoid people.:D

      forgot to mention i go to uni as well, i study history.

      I work for 2 Universities… IT/Desktop Systems Admin/Manager type person….

      And now starting to get half alright at ASP coding 😉

      Never finsihed Uni myself, and now work for ’em… anyone see a paradox there?

      living out my dream gt-ahh!, love the arts but hate having to work especially snotty customers. but wanna be graphic designer me self, studying hard cause its the finnal year of high school for me. well…. not really studying cause if i was i wouldn’t be here, hah! :p

      We’re not sick Trash, a little obsessed at times though I must admit.
      There is so much more that can be done to these cars with some techo knowledge, and we aim to figure it out. You are right though, much of the ‘hard core’ techo stuff originates from this forum.
      Anyway,
      Me……electronics technician, electrician, applied physics (Vic Uni (temporarily)), spend most of my day installing, fault finding, debugging, calibrating and fine tuning, all manner of circuitry from mega large (600Vdc @ 400 Amps) to miniature (micro Amps through SMT).
