z drag track

i made the first mini z drag track. i just made a 2X4 frame and covered it with partacalboard and sanded it smooth then covered it with the ruberizeing spray paint.

for keeping times i went to radioshack and bought 2 stop watches and wired up the start switches togher then i put wires from the stop switchs at the end of the track befor the shut down area and i used 2 ss 5 f switches on each track with the trigger to the switch about 1mm comeing outta the track so either the right tires of the left tires will hit it and stop it.

so far everything is good and working fin. im going to try ta put a light tree up and rig it to start the stop watches when the tree goes green. Any ideas on doing that?

do you have any pictures of the track yet?

or what you have done so far? its kind of hard to picture what you have done 😛

as for the lights if you goto dick smith im sure there should be a small kit they have that will do a similar function to what you want, you would be quite suprised 😛
