Dave it looks pretty good in person…(you have a point about the flake effect and the scale!)

Spanky yes it depends on the material but since I was talking about bit bodies I said always from outside…

And for candy apple just a hint…paint it over a base coat of the best silver paint you can find!

    P.S:What VW bus?HW or Matchbox?

yes but I had posted more pints in my last reply so I m better…
    LoL

    Just joking!

    :):):):)

GT-ahh I’m not sure how correct is the thing about top speed you mentioned…I thnik that how heavy a wheel isn’t important about top speed but only for accel. not sure but…

    Lets see…

Smaller wheel diameter means better acceleration and smaller top speed.

    Heavier wheel means less acceleration.

How wide the wheels are doesn t really matters in a smooth surface.

But all that in theory beacause:

The car is so small and light and accelerates and reach top speed too fast to see this changes clearly…

But with the pullback wheels the car is faster for one simple reason!
Without them the car can’t find traction spinning in every start(and loosing control some times) with them finds traction which means that it’s faster cause no time lost i spinning…

    ………..

So now everyone with a powerfull bit install pullback wheels at least in the back!

The Gloria with the small rims is much faster than normal…Almost too fast to control even with four sticky tires!
The ae86 is perfectly balanced…Smaller wheels means better acceleration, sticky tires better traction…all in one is almost normal but in track is far faster than the normal because of the extra traction…And since it s a tomy chassis with the 2.6 it’s pure quality!!!

    Well just a small mistake!
THe setup now(in the last pic)is front pullback rims all over both in the steering knuckles and the gear axle…

And just to help you there…In my clone(a Bensu) I just pulled the front wheels of the knuckles and it worked…It needs some strength and a steady hand though…Don t be afraid to pull them out(they are not going to brake!)

Sorry for the delay here are some of the answers:

*In the first set of pics it s a chassis with rear pullback wheels in the rear bit axle.

*In the second set of pics(lol…only one pic!) it’s a chassis with FRONT pullback wheels in all corners…

*The exhaust is not custom just a detailed original.

*The paint I used for the wheels was Humbrol Enamel and the color silver 11…and I use brush for both wheels and exhaust…

*The black hole in the rear axle in the last pic is because it’s front pullback wheels(already have a hole!)

*Finally yes it needs some lowering…And new paint…All of them coming as soon as possible!

And one last thing I have pics of my chassis with rear pullback rims in all four corners!!!…I’ll post possibly tonight..

(LoL I think that I’ve done all pullack-bit wheel variation!)

Well yes…It was a real loctite TOMY bit…
I also believe that It might be a litlle stupid thing to do!
    And yes it s milliput…
The wing is from a alluminium!(if you can’t afford a real one you make one for your bit!)
And the pug is the clone body from toyest but now I believe looks much better!

I ll have my new pullbacks tommorow so I’ll soon do the mod and I’ll tell you everything you need…I have already many photos but no space…I see what I’ll do…
When I’m done with the front I’ll post more…

No on the rear you have to:
1.Pull(not cut)the rear from the pullback.
2.Pull the ones from the bit.
3.In the side with the gear cut the small spacers in the pullback wheel.
4.Glue the Bit axle with pullback wheels together,

    Barrel:
ALl rear pullback wheels are the same just pick the rim design you really want!

well shypo is correct…But what I suggested wsa using rear pullback wheels in the front!
Not front pullback wheels in the front!I think that isn t too difficult!

I’ll post pics inside the week when I’ll get more pullback’s!

    Thanks for your good words!

Well first of all thank you for all your replys!!!

Now the answers to your questions!

DaveF:No you can t use the pullback axle on a bit so it isn’t matter of clipping out/in.You have to take the rear pullback wheels out, thentake bit wheels of the axle and finally make a new one like the one in pics with the pullback wheels glued in!
But it isn’t hard so don’t worry! It was my first mod ever…and I can’t say it ws dfficult!

micro_Amps:I’m happy you are out for them!I convinced you!

Shypo:Same here…I’m out of pullbacks…I had only the ae86 that I don’t want to open and the R32 that has different rim design!
However I’m waiting 5 of them the next week so when I’ll have more wheels I’m going for it!

finally,jc:The clones are bought from toyeast, called Bullet ST.Cost around 10$ US. Both of them were great ,no major problem and the quality isn’t really bad! Much faster than bits and now my moded runs better even on the track!
What I didn’t like was the body but they have nice shapes(porsche, pug 206)but if you peel off the stickers you might even start to like it!
