3.0 motor woes

      Hey guys,
      Just got my 3.0 from trading direct. I installed it with the black pinion gear supplied and i hafta puch it to get it started… umm what the?

      have a look in the old forums, you will find stuff there, thats what helped me out with my 3.0

      Bench run it for a long time, Spray WD 40 through it, just use it alot and try the motor mount position (3 o’clock).

      run it holding it in the air. Try readjusting the motor, the 3.0 and other oem batteries sometimes have this problem, its usually a connection problem

      I believe it may due to the motor mount contacts. So bend the end contact in a bit, and bend the bottom one up, this may also help.

      i hate using WD40 in my car it makes dust and any other particles of anything stick to it. use some racing grease or somehting like that

      I dont use any oil in my car exept inside the motor. For the rest I use carbon/graphite powder.
