I have a booster with 2.2 motor. Does anyone know if I can upgrade the motor, let say 3.0 or 3.8 motor? Or I can’t change anything at all with the booster machine.

yes you most definately can! all parts are interchangable with normal bit char-gs the only difference is the circuit…

A booster with a NiMH cell and 3.8 motor is probably the easiest way to get max. fun out of a bit cheaply

yep upgrade the motor, 3.5 would be awesome with a nimh cell, or even dual cells 😛

a booster NEEDS at least: soft suspension
medium tires at the front
hard on the back
racing (high speed)gears
a 2.6 engine.and while yor at it get a nice pullback shell to replace booster chassis clear skyline. mmm black supra….

i cant understand why ever1 loves the supra, i think its kinda deformed….:shock::shy:
the front looks werid, the front wheel arches are like squared off at the front. it sits way to high at the back and theres a hump in the bonnet

thats a good point, all the cars with bodykits and a lower stance on the chassis would be awsome, the TOMY cars sit far far far to high and it makes certain shels look goofy

it has holes near the doors like a contach, and the front end is odd but it races quite well and holds momentum cos of the extra weight on the lower nose.

Yeah, im supposedly getting a pullback in the mauil today, im gonna use the smaller mags on my bcg, so it should lower the rear end of the supra and make it look a bit better.
I agree barelll the black supra is very nice.

a was waiting for a pizza in the bay the other day and saw something cool. an original mounted poster from the first batman movie of the BATMOBILE. that beast looks so cool, and the supra (black pullback) looks so similar to the batmobile i’d swear that it was inspiration at least. the pb rims ‘l look sick with this shell.

Hi,
speaking about boosters… I bought 4 automodellista LXX from Toy East and I just unpacked the yellow Supra 57 mhz.
My booster’s controller is not able to control a standard 57Mhz Shen Qi wei and the Shen’s controller is not able to control the LXX.
They do not make interference so I can drive the 2 57Mhz cars together without problem.
Are you experiencing similar situation ?

Really?? I have not heard of that, if it works that would be great. I will try it on my 27 mhz AM and the rest of my 27 mhz cars (have a few:) to see if I can duplicate the result. Will post either way.

Are all the LXX Auto Modelista set cars a different frequency? Every photo I see of any in that set shows the box with a 27Mhz sticker on it. I thought they were all 27Mhz. Can someone who owns the set please confirm the frequency of each car please?

thats sure going to limit the amount of entries we are going to get.:shock: might have to visit a professional photographer shypo buddy…just make sure you tell them you need macro shots!
how are you going to judge fuzzy or low quality pics inthe comps? arrgh this belongs some where else…..

If you can’t provide a clear shot, you risk the car not looking as good as someone who does. This is a pain for people with average cameras, but at least you can’t get around having an average car, but making the photo blury to hide the imperfections. Get a good photo, or get out.
Shypo. I can get access to a good digitial camera if you wanna send to stuff to me. I’d be glad to take the shots for you at several angles (I’m an ex semi pro photographer), and send you the shotsa and cars back.

Upon testing again it seems they do interfere.
I friend and I were running 2 together, I thought both were 57MHz with one a booster. I was wrong, wrong, wrong. Silly me :blush:blackeye:

Jamie: they sure are.. i have no use for them dude.. i just cant be bothered to use them and i never drive at night time and i only race 1 or 2 people and thats maybe 1nce evry 3-5 monhts lol
