Pretty amazing work, I cant believe he didnt pull the engine out and do the engine bay too !!
What a pitty, such a great car and you open the bonnet to severe dissapointment. Just a plastic cover over all the old crap.
Workmanship like that body work is hard to find, and when you do it is VERY expensive. This guy obviously has money to burn and doesnt car that his car is a fake. Call me silly, and its a great car, but I think I’d prefer the real mccoy.
I have a photo album full of his kind of stuff after spending 7 years doing a bare-metal rebuild of a 60’s sports car. Alot depends on the quality of those that do the work for you. Good fun at the end of it all tho.

I think they did a lot of it themselves….

So the end result of cost is surprisingly low, compared to the real mcoy!

And agree on the engine bay… but I think the plan is to not let anyone get that close to it LOL

Still….. I don’t think I would have the patience for it! The mods on my car, and future plans are certainly not that grand, nor would I put up with having the car off the road for that long.

Would love to see some of your pics Micro Amps, show us your car please?

Yeah, i would feel like a major try hard with that car. It is really just an old car that’s been given a facelift. None of Mercedes’s sophisticated electronics and systems.
