well i just had a kinda crazy idea concerning a extremely pimp BCG ride. right now the glorias are pimp but do you think if i cut the roof off a gloria, softened the lines a bit it could look like a el camino or soemthing like that. i set it on my German rims. lower the back, jack the front up a bit and there.
do you guys think i should butcher the gloria shell???—-

Buy a green Gloria shell and work on that, so you don’t trash your existing shell.

well who really care the worst thing you can do if stuff the shell the best thing you can do is make it look cool ( or PImp lol) and any thing in between could be good or bad just do it if ya got a spare

i have to cut it easily otherwise it will slash the car up realy baD, its not a very easy job tho becos braking the front window would just defeat the purpose entirely

are you usisg a doctor/med scalpel shypo?
i used to get them of my mum for free but i’m glad i stopped. exacto blades are so more precise.
and stronger too. the shape of a round blade is just to hard to work with some times.
i had a go at internal detail like dave and shypo suggested. it sucks big time, the pcb is to high!!!
i cut and trimmed a pair of bucket seats for a convertable and made a hole in the pcb the same size. sunk it down as far as the curcuit and glued it (separate). looks crap tho..
sits way too high….

yeah all seats in cars are stuck to the floor and there IS curcuitry in the way. sux sux sux.

I think the PCB board would have to be replaced to pull it off properly, or the seats cut down so it was really just the back rest of the seat that gets glued on, so it doesn’t sit too high.
I’m thinking of getting a F1 matchbox size car and using that, as some of them have a driver with crash helmet in them, so it’s look like there was a driver, and in race cars they only have 1 seat anyway.

yes i am using a medical scalpel but its extremely sharp and i find it very very precise. it will do for now anyways

i seen some one cut a ‘uge star on there chest with one and he healed it without a trace within 3 months. pretty messy!!!!

Yeah. I should do it, even if just for a laugh. I’ve been tempted to buy a clone to keep at work. Hmmm, but now I need to work out which one to buy.
Hmmmm….
It’d have to be a booster. And best not to clash with the boosters I have (Tomy BCG Fairlady and AM sets). Any suggestions?

I think we’ve seen:-
silver – ok, but bit common, seen several already
black – nah, looks off somehow
blue (dark) – ok, not bad
white – ugh!Haven’t seen the famous ‘orange/bronze’ yet though!!!
Strangely it looks a tad bulbous in real life… looks better in pix.
Still prefer the 1990 300ZX and the original 240Z! 🙂

i was talkin about the old skool z, it was lower than the black 911 parked around the corner and had the nicest cherry red paint job.
saw a silver new z with nice black leather interior, parked at a mall up for raffle. nice when u can just stand and appreciate them without fear of getting hassled.

Every photo I’ve seen of the LXX AM set shows the box with 27MHz written on it. I’ve seen the descriptions saying they’re different though. Which do I believe, the photo of the box, or the written description. Does any one have all four LXX AM cars? Which ones are which frequency?
