  Check out the new photo’s of the track. (See link in Signature – it’s been fixed and works now).
  
  I’ll be doind a race video either this or next weekend (Time trial video available in Downloads area on this site).

  i have started my new track, i stole the idea from MTL off tiny-rc
  the Japanese drift Circuit Ebisu. i am actually gonna make uphill and downhill and try and mimic it exacttly.
  get some real BCG drift action goin on..

  Aaron, yeah. Only the ones that end in /58. Sorry man. I just used the Url that was in my profile when I first went in there on the new site. Seems it had been truncated. I notice the signature is now part of the message, and not updated in the posts after the profile is changed like the Avatars did (and still do).

  Sounds like good fun. I’m still getting the hang of drift driving in these little cars. It’s almost needed to make it round the really technical part of my track with a larger motor. trying with my 2.2 and 3.0 motors in the booster cars, so I can fang on the juice.

  Haven’t finished the starters lights yet. Haven’t really had the motivation since we’re racing already, but as I have all the parts I should get into it soon.

  Dave i found the best way to drift is with bit racer tyres, usually meds up front and hards up back on a booster car cos then u can slam on the power and get your tail end to usually, fly out

  Yeah. I’m having a lot of fun getting used to the booster car. Flying down the straights, and learning to do some very sharp turns by putting the foot down and getting a short burt of drift. Love it.

  i love my booster car aswell. but i have one complaint, it steers off centre- no matter how much tweaking and fooling around wit it it still doesnt steer straight, it is a cool car none the less though

  I read something on TinyRC about putting 2 steering springs in. One (or both) crossed over to even out the pull the springs have. Might be worth a go. Steering may suffer, but coming back to straight would benefit.
  
  And advancement on this might be to make two weaker springs, and put them on crossed over. One L over R, one R over L. The weaker springs should total to the original spring power, and the dual springs would allow perfect straight lines (in theory).

  Perhaps the two weaker springs idea then? Where’s a good weaker spring the right size come from? Floppy disk? Video tape? Hand made from the copper ends off guitar strings?

  maybe just some very thin gauge wire would be the trick, i’ll c how i go but i dont race my bits very much anymore becos i am now feeding a Mini Z addiction

  They seem pretty cool as well. Maybe each year for Xmas I’ll get slightly bigger RC cars for the kids. So maybe next year will be MiniZs.

  there are hundreds of people giving ideas for it, some people have done it and said it works really well, they have extremely resposive steering but they say it isnt woirth losing the other chassis
