gear help

      Hi everyone one of my bit’s is having a problem with the gear that conects the engine to the axel. its actually loose and as a result the gear some times slips. it only ocurs when i put from forward to reverse quickly. how do i fix this problem? get some new gears or can i tighten the gear thing???? any help would be great.

      do u mean the gear on the axle?
      becos if u r talking about that then just glue the sucker into place

      if you mean the middle gear amybe turn the pinion the other way around so the flat bit holds the gear on?

      The gear that is connected directly to the motor is called the pinion gear.

      The Gear on the axle is the axle gear.

      The geat that send the power from the motor to the axle is called the idle gear.

      Which one do you think is the problem?

      the idle is gear is the problem.
      the thing keeps on moving around.

      then flip your pinion around so its back to front and then put the idle gear on, thats way it doesnt have much room to move around

      I know that this is a little off topic… but I have seen some people using glue or putty to “seal” in the rear axle. Does this work to keep the car tracking a straighter line?

      that wouldnt do anything becos the axle doesnt turn the car.
