The charger i got is probably the cheapest one that can charge batteries in around an hour

My z cost $229,
My charger cost $69

When we used to have a 4BR house I used to run 1/10 indoors, but since we’ve moved into a 2BR flat (with the *same* amt of furniture) a 1/28 mZ is all there is space for. 🙂 Even a 1/18 Micro RS4 HPI is probably a bit too big/fast, although the 4WD might help. Our “wierd-pile” carpet makes the mZ drive like a crab… sideways diagonally.

Yeah i was racing mine in the hallway at the resort im at. It had a doormat inbuilt into the tiles near the front door and it made it go all retarded.

the brakes are activated by hitting reverse..if you want it to go backwards you have to double tap reverse..

would be very nice indeed, but just gaining enuff speed and turning gives nice powersliding and drift.

F1s have real brakes as well as reverse on their ESC.

No, I think the first part of ‘throttle back’ is brake, then the rest is reverse. (yes, its pretty easy to overshoot into rev.) I haven’t tried one for myself though.

i just read how the brakes work, u hav to tap forwards once and that slows the car down and then tap it again to come to a complete halt, if u jam the acclerator down then u start driving again

Lazboy, you wont be dissapointed with a standard, stock as a rock Mini Z, they fly in that form anyways

Ya, just buy one that you prefer.
With hindsight though, if you’re always running on carpet maybe a Overlander might be cute. Std mZ tyres are too low-profile for thick pile.
But if you’re racing then a std mZ is the go.

i race my Z on the carpet a fair bit, it isnt very thivk tho but the main problem is the heat build up on carept and the lack of traction, especailly with the X speed:D

Heat & traction loss isn’t the big hassle, its that the still spurgear gets better grip and makes it go crab-like. 🙁

February 18, 2003 at 12:52 am #45097
my car starts bouncing when i lose traction and then it just slides and rollsblackeye:
