The car looks to be about the size of a MiniZ in the promotional flyer I have seen, but may be a clone. The flyer says that if you buy a Nokia with Grace Bros or Meyer, and sign up to a plan, then you get a RC car, and a chance to win a bigger prize.

The RC car is an Evo, with Nokia decals. There’s an attachment to the phone to make the phone the controller, with the option to program the car, as well as control it (from what I understand of the flyers short blerb). Seems you can’t buy them seperately at the moment.

      Can anyone provide more details?

Probably one of the DigiQ or similar, with IR control?

Only got the flyer. Might be something on Grace Bros/Myer sites. possibly something on Nokia site too.

It’s bigger than a DigiQ, they’re only BCG size. This think looks MiniZ or Palm Runner size in the pictures.

Anyone here work for Grace Bros, or Myer? If so, can you check it out and let us all know please.

the Myer/Grace Bros have nothing to do with it on their site, I guess its just not their target in online advertising.

Their sites have a hugely limited range of products too. I think they’re still feeling the water with it. In the world where you can buy anything on the net, seeing big stores like these guys, with a 10 page site is pretty hopeless.

The operative is “can”… but doesn’t mean people “do”.
An online operation is not as easy as one thinks.

There’s still a huge market out there for ppl who want to
touch-n-feel their goods before they open their wallets.
It is still rare for online buying of many things… especially
groceries – I’d rather go down to the supermarket personally.

And given Australia’s location & small population, it is unlikely
to have a website for local fulfillment catering to foreign orders.
The shipping distance and the ridiculous amts they charge for
postage makes it all not worthwhile. :dead:

      I’m feeling CML ain’t going away too soon… 🙂

      Only suitable for Nokia phones.
