Ive just been given the option to buy 2 xbox BCGs, in absolute mint condition, complete with the ‘congratulations’ slip in the box, for US$320 each.
Now, this is what I know…..
I know this is huge money for toys.
I know the only difference is the stickers on the car and the box.
I know there is only 300 made.
I know they are as rare as rocking horse poo.

But they have sold in the past for US$400. Sigma sold theirs, and I know they could have sold 2 more if they had them a month ago. Both those customers have since obtained xboxs elsewhere.

      Help

If they’ve sold in the past for more than you’re about to buy them for, then buy them. Investment. Just keep them mint.

Well, if you’ve got nothing better to do with your A$500 then… why not?? 👿

And the way the AUD is going… its getting better by the day.

Conversely, there’s probably a bit of hype premium involved too. Sure its cute to have all the rare BCGs, but gotta think what are you gonna be doing with them in 5/10/20 yrs time? There’s no track record to say that prices will stay so high for these items.

I think in about 1000 years time they might be worth alot.

They are (were) both WRXs, and I believe one is gone already. So if I’m gonna do this I’d better make my mind up. They have just told me that it is on reserve for me for 2 days, then it goes back in the store window
      Hmmmmm.

I would luuuuuuuuuv an x-box but I think that is way too much. I reckon $320AUS would be more reasonable. I know Sigma sell some stuff at huge prices but I don’t think that’s the norm. Just check out Bithed’s price of an Nur compared to Sigma’s…..

The Collection: Nur, Voltz, Calsonic, Steamship, Tune Up Box, Nismo, Auto Modelista, Booster and Char-G GTR.

Sigma’s prices are absoutley outrageous, i couldnt believe they were asking $400US for a NUR when Bithed was doing half that price INCLUDING POSTAGE
