Damn dude those rims are so sweet. In the pack you get for them do they come with all the bits needed to put them on? ie: tyres, axel, etc… Are the rims thicker than the standard bit rims? They appear to be from looking at the pics. Also, what are they like performance wise for the car’s responsiveness?

The rims that I have came with tires, rims, and photo etched hubs. You have to make your own axles, and knuckle pins..(very easy on the 9.0mm rims) The larger set of alloys in the pic came with tires, rims, photo etched hubs, and disc brakes with calipers. Still no axle, and I’m having a difficult time finding a good fit.
The 9.0mm white ones on the car are the same size as the stock front bit wheels, and the 10.8mm ones in the pic are the same size as the stock rear bit wheels.. Hope that was what you were asking..
Oh yeah, about the performance.. IMO, I think they make the car handle 10x better, but some people don’t agree.. I have 2 sets installed, and those 2 are the only 2 cars I drive..

Thanks guys… I think the LEDs add extra weight that I’m not looking to gain.. I’ll probably put some an a car one of these days, but this car’s just for racing…

Surface Mount LED’s are very light. Add to that fine enamled wire with very small LR44 * 2 watch batteries and you wouldn’t have more that 3-5 grams of extra weight.
I’m working on a design at the moment where you can put a light kit on your car and not need the second power supply.

Hey payaso, a question man. How did you do the racing stripes? Did you use the pin stripe tape from an auto shop? I’m interested in the masking process you used..
Thanks,
ph2t.
