I just finished my second dual cell conversion. Yesterday I received my S2000 bit, and within 10 minutes I had it up and running. A couple days before I received a 3.8 motor that I had ordered specially for this car. After putting the motor in and charging it up for the first time, I put it on the floor and BAM! it took off like a miniature rocket. I can’t believe how fast it is. It makes my first dual cell look like a turtle.
BTW major thanks to praBBit for all his help. could’nt have done it without him.
S2000, dual cell, 3.8, lowered, custom clear wing, clear body
NSX, R-spec motor, lowered, custom ground effects, exhaust, detailed body
Toyota BB, dual cell, 2.6, lowered, wheelie bar (soon to be triple celled monster)😀

Twin batt bits are faaaaaaantastic.
Especially if you go all the way and fit the second cell INTO the chassis not just on top.
No wheelies, no tipping over, just pure speed and baby they handle like they are on rails.
I just wore out one of my ‘twin batts’ out….. need another
Now where did I put my dremel….. -

I agree. The first dual bit I had built for my daughter (the Toyota BB) She wanted something that would wheelie and jump (like praBBit’s WRX). My s2000 is being used for drag. I am going to buy the
lxx Castrol GTR and add a second cell inside the chassis. Then I am going to buy yet another and turn it into a dual motor tri-cell monster.:p

I got the diagram from http://www.questformadness.com
It is pretty easy to do. You don’t have mess with any stock wiring. You just have to be careful.
