what has changed on new char g’s?

How have they made the new char g’s look as if they are lower to the ground, is it the chassis, body, or wheels? Also, are the current char g bodies compatible with the new chassis?

They have enlarged the rims and thinned the tires…also the body fits lower on the chassis, ie, they have moved the mounting slots UP…The chassis itself has been deepened, ie, it sits lower to the ground…it looks like the cripple chip has been removed too…One of the whole things with the ‘Super-Car’ movement of the 70’s was the lowness of the cars and their width…at the time Japan was still relatively wide and big and clunky…hence the dream of all the japanese children wanting a ‘super-car’…All those children are now adults and TOMY is betting on the hope that all these parents, now with disposable income, go out and get bits for themselves and their children…Next question? 🙂

wow!! cool… lowered char-g’s they’d prolly look good… =) anyway are the old ones incompatible to the new ones? ie the chassis incompatible to the new casings or the old casings incompatible to the new chassis…

First Generation shells / bodies WILL FIT on Second Generation chassis and vice versa…We are TRYING to get a sample but TOMY is being very tight lipped about the whole thing…Same as usual…lol…

f1 style speed change predicted, it would be the perfect way to show the superior design that goes into bit manufacture. and there fore the only avenue to promote the “supercar idea”.

There is a pullback of the porsche and the contach as well. normal kit, the porsche is silver and contach is red, pullback is blue porsche and black contach. i think thats right anyway

yeah the silver one does look better than the blue pullback one, well from the photos anyway. but the blue one doesn’t look bad. which lambo are you going to get z-beam?
