      Ok this is open ended as there is no way I could fit all these on a poll. What is your first bit, micro, compact, clone you bought? What got the habit up and running for you. And if you want to you could say when you got it as well:).

      I guess I will start. I bought a Lancer Bensu bullet (yellow and red) clone early last July I think, and it was all down hill from there:D

      I went to New York over Christmas, and one of the employees in Toys R Us there was driving one around the floor, didn’t really pay much attention to it at the time, but thought it was cool. So when I came back home, i did a bit of research and bought a Compact White Skyline 27mhz in January.

      a compact 27mhz Silver S2000, still have the shell and i still have the chassis except now it sports a green gloria and German rims and a lowering job and springs lol.

      My first r/c was a MiniZ…

      My sweet blue GTR, pics as seen in the merchandising thread sporting my home made ausmicro decals.
      And my Mazda too.

      The hummer came along very shortly after that and my BCG GTR is awaiting finalisation of the transaction.

      I am a newbie to it all, and have been playing with R/C’s for only about 6 months……..

      my first char-G was an original char-G in 1990. its fun but its only 2way (forwadrs and spin) and its the size of a cricket ball…..

      I bought a Z-Car Mercedes C coupe from the Discovery Channel Store $19.99 in Dec 2002. I’ve been hooked ever since. I now have a stable of 20 Micros from various makers. Best fun I’ve had since I was a kid…..

      Blue Skyline 40mhz Compact char-g last year some time

      condition now: shells screwed has been replaced with a yellow s2000
      chassie still runs ok but has been a while since it has had a run

      yeah it was a porche 911…. it looks really deformed (super-chibi) its mainly just for display at the moment, but im thinking of converting it to a 6 way RC.

      Enertec Micro Super Charger Black WRX which I bought a week before Christmas last. Then I got two Nano Racers for Christmas and then a Compact Char-G White Skyline the week after christmas.

      The bug got me big time I tell ya!!:smiley16:

      The WRX still goes (straight!! never did turn well at all). Its heaps fast, it kinda reminds me of a fly buzzing aginst a window when I put it on my track, just bounces off the barriers smokin em up everywhere 😀

      One of the Nano Racers has expired. Still not exactly sure what has happened to it, just didn’t work one day 🙁

      fairly new to it all myself… about four months now, my first car being a 27MHz white Skyline…
      the chassis went toes up a couple of months ago, while the shell died only last night(who let my flatmates dog in the house, anyway?) All other cars’n clones going sweet as a nut…
      And like 8ch Ess Vee I was too was bitten by the bug!!:smiley2:

      A mate at work came back from Japan over twelve months ago with a Toyota bB Bit. From the moment I set eyes on it, I wanted one. His brother in law bought me out an Initial D set about ten months ago. I have since purchased a Nano Celica and a Compact Skyline. As well as all the bits and pieces from Aaron, tyres, suspension, gears and a new motor.

      Hmm… Actually, come to think of it… I’ve never actually bought a bit. :approve:

      My first was a compact S2k 27MHz from my gf.

      My other was a black celica 35MHz. That was a birthday present from my friends.

      But I did drop lots and lots of hints… 😀

      First bit char-g i got was the castrol special edition skyline 😀 and after that my fav kit, trueno tune up

      The chassis is ok, been through some surgery, and the body now has no decals or rear wing lol

      my first bit was the honda NSX-R until. i still have to find time to fix the steering coil. now im working on a S2000 with a 2.6 motor, and trying to control it. i’ll be working on bits less now cos i promised myself that i would finish building my TAMIYA S2000 1/10 scale. i’ve had it for like more than a year now and haven’t finished it.:sad:

      My first bit well actully my only bit is a Silver S2000 Compact CHar-g. Now i got a 2.6 for it, I repainted the S2000 and put a spoiler on it. WHy did I bought it? Well I was thinking to buy one because when I got bored from doing homework I can just play it on the table instead of play my petrol powerd RC car in the backyard.

      Let’s do 1/4 Mile under 8 Seconds!!!
