White motor

  Ciao,
  recently I found a white motor, any clue of its rpm ratings ? I found it in the last SHEN i bought, insted of the usual orange 2.6 motor.

  I have a couple of white motors, on some Bensu’s. Don’t think they are that fast Shypo < 2.2 for the ones I have. Sorry Efarel, no ratings... I saw a beige chassis on a clone this weekend, looked a bit different:question: Impreza :smiley16:

  I have 3 white motors, they have very little “brake” I have to use reverse to slow down the car because it has a high coasting (?) speed.
  Good top speed but not so good acceleration so, on my track, the car arrive too fast at the end of main straight and it is difficult to slowdown and corner.
  Maybe 3.0 it can be but, for sure, faster than 2.2 and 2.6 but not “raceable” as 2.2 and 2.6 imho:)

  Sorry to ask this, but is there any records of what colours are what RPMs? I’ve only got all clones myself (some bensu’s, some miniracer? not sure). Is there any register so to speak?

  blue 1.0
  yellow 2.2
  orange 2.6
  white 3.0
  
  I’m not sure about green 1.6

  Efarel, I agree about the coasting, but the 4 bensu I have with the white motors don’t seem to be as fast as a 3.0:sad:

  Could be the shen’s motors are different then the bensu?? It really gets blury when dealing with clone parts:(

  also a pink motor! efarel have you seen the race master tornado clones? they come with gears that match that type of motor, on tomy gears the black pinion has 6 teeth. the tornadoes pink pinion has 8 teeth.

  well I don’t have a 3.0 so I can’t tell about it !!
  But I’m working on a computer based timing system and I’ll do some accurate test 😀

  I think that motors came from the same sources, Tomy or clone have same motors, imho.

  Some motors are slightly dif. size. I agree with z-beam on the pinons. If you get the timing system set up let me know the results.

  i hav a 3.5 motor which is a bit bigger, it fits with sum working but i can tell u its a bastard to get in
