    I’ve noticed it differs from country to country somewhat, so I hope I’m helping when I give you the following. This is from Japan, so it could probably be trusted for the bit-charge, but not the microsizers or compact charge (the three different names are all made by TOMY).

    L.blue = also a tomy 1.0
    Green = 1.6
    Orange = 2.6
    red = 3.0

    I’ve never seen a black motor.

    The 3.5 might actually be a typo for 3.8. Not sure on that one though.

    Clones have all kinds of colors.

    All good ideas. I say wichever is the most effective, accessable, cheapest and easiest method for you.

    OK Supermax, you are definately more of a perfectionist than me. You win the perfectionist award.:D Although, you could just use the spring to shoot things through a tube. That way, you could see if two springs will shoot something the same distance. If one spring shoots an object farther then it probably means it’s stronger.

    Yeah, they are heavy. I would like to know what I can rip out for weight reduction.

    Yes, stretch them. Take your time though. I mean do it slowly, a little at a time. If you stretch them too much, then they wont be usable. You can always cut them, but I’ve found that using half the spring, with less total coils (this is with any spring) can interfere with steering. Also, stretch two at the same time. That way you’ll have two equal length springs for one car. If one spring is more springy than the other, then it may effect performance.

    Can you tell I’m a bit of a perfectionist?

    The 1/4aaa is pretty small, plus the ZZSE’s internal compartments have a little more room to fit all kinds of stuff. Although, it already comes packed tight with components. I can’t see anybody internally modding this car much more. Hopefully, I’m proven wrong.

    Impreza, I would only recomend getting a ZZSE if you plan on fet modding it. Microamps is doing the fet modding for it also, if you want to send him the car. Otherwise, the speed is rather disappointing. It runs like a 1.0~2.0 (without the torque) even with the good motors.

    I never really did a close inspection of them. I just noticed that there were two small batts in series that were nimh. They were a little smaller than regular bit batts. Probably the same as the digi-q’s.

    Yeah, I thought it could handle 6 volts too, but appearently not. Although the last time I heard that they could handle 6 volts, I think it was coming from someone without a fet modded board. It will be a couple days until I tinker with it some more. I’m gonna try a super bit pcb and maybe a different fet modded bit pcb to see if it was just that one pcb.

    The digi-q batts(1/4aaa?) are roughly 3/4 the size of the bit batts. I don’t know if the gain will be all that much because they probably have a lower current, witch I think will effect the cars ability to reach it’s top end speed.

    I just remembered something stupid!!! The pcb comes from a cyclona, not a bit. Maybe the cyclona pcbs can’t handle that voltage. I’ll try a bit modded pcb next.

    By the way, thanx for the welcome. I’m happy to be here.

    I just glue it with super glue, wait a few hours, glue it again, wait a few hours, glew it again, then finally wait like a day or so. Use a file to trim it down so it will fit back into the slot. This method makes a very strong bond that wont be broken by anything short of throwing it against the wall. If that doesn’t work, then buy better glue. Also, don’t run it while you’re waiting for the glue to fully dry.

    Duct tape and super glue will actually fix anything.

    All kinds, but the occasional ones dont have good springs. Kodak and Fuji film are pretty good.

    I also get springs, but I get them from disposable cameras. I just go to a photo development store and ask them for their used cameras. There’s a spring inside by the lens. Sometimes it under a peice of metal. Be sure to take out the batteries and discharge the flash capacitor first or you might get a bit of a jolt. I usually pick up a whole bag full and pick through the different ones for the copper springs that wont effect the magnet. They fit on the front suspension perfectly. You do have to trim of the end and stretch them, but I don’t mind because you can stretch them to different degrees of springyness.
