  I’m think of using mobile phone keypad lights as underbody light. They are small, light weight and bright. And there is also a wide range of colours to choose from.
  
  And I also wish Tomy or any of the clones can make Holden or Ford Body Shells just for Australian Customers. Just think about the new VY race with BA Falcon on a BCG V8 Supercars Racing. And make tracks like the Bathurst…

  i have heard of many headlight mods with these. they are very small… but you need to be good with a soldering iron because they are so small.

  yeah but you are going to have o figure out a new way to supply power cos u cant use a mobile battery.
  and who would spend $30AU on some lights for a BCG, man thats way to expensive

  Yeah, I am hoping to get around to that soon. I figured that it was a nice cheap option seeing as how my Nokia 5110 went belly up.
  
  I was thinking about cutting up the actual PCB and solder the tracks rather than try and unsolder and resolder the SMLs.
  
  Tested it with some normal AA batteries and 3 volts was enought to light up half a dozen of them so a Lithium button cell should be fine.
  
  There are quite a few of these SMLs on the phone as well. There are the ones to light the keypad as well as the ones that light the display.
  
  If and when I get around to it, I will post some pics.

  cmon leonli17! we see enough of the POS’s on the road everyday! without having to deal with them on our BCG’s
  Stick with the imports!
  If you want a Holden or Ford, just design it yourself!

  i reckon a pagani Zonda wouldnt be 2 hard, the Rx7 could be come it with a bit of putty and sanding.

  Its a ’96 Series II, manual, still stock standard at the moment (apart from the stereo :D) and its still only got 50,000 ks on the clock 🙂
  
  Must say I love the VL’s too. The Calais’s have something about them (especially the ones with the turbo badges!!!!)
  
  But most fav of all times would have to be the Bluey’s (VK SS Grp A Brock) Now that is one tough lookin set of wheels!!
  
  But then again the VT Clubsports aren’t too shabby either!!
  
  Oh god, I dunno, perhaps I will just have to have one of each (I wish :approve:)
  
  If I had a few more Bit bodies to look at up close to see which one would lend itself to a conversion I would have a go at making one myself.

  I’m thinking about make a Holden Ute. And put a third battery in the back. or make a petrol tanker with er…let’s say maybe three motors if possibal . Well any way, I would love to see GT-ahh’s Monaro when it’s finished. Red or Yello with black decals will be cool.
  
  About the underbody lights. I find out that blue mobile lights usually are the brightest.
  
  Anyone with more info on lights are welcome.

  because its quite a low and sleek car maybe use an rx7 shell for the rx8. chop the roof and extend the back window so its abit longer and higher, and add that nappy of a bumper..

  no way would i butcher my silver 350z shell, maybe when the new microsizer shells come out i could do it to the red 350. i thoiught maybe a smoothened out evo shell but an Rx7 seems like the way to go

  I still reckon S2k is easier to work with because the back and the lights(i think).

  the doors is the biggest problem, i think i may end up just softening some lines of the lancer cos it has 4 doors and a bit of an elongated front
