Did you get the Kyosho Ball Diff? I ask because Atomic just released their own Ball Diff for the Dnano.:smiley14:

The Kyosho Ball diff looks very trick. $71.20 well spent IMHO…. After all, you can’t put a price on happiness:D

dgs – What do you think would be the case if the DNano was running the Xspeed and a couple small suspension options and a Ball Diff? Think it could take the F1?:D

Amazing the technology in these tiny cars!!

Back in the years when I was an Xmod guy, I was all about the speed…. Couldn’t get enough. Now I am a bonafide Mini-Z addict. For racing, I need speed but also throttle resolution to be smooth throughout the powerband. The Nelly gives the best of both worlds – Maximum power throughput for ultimate power delivery efficiency, safety in numbers for running hot motors down to 20turns, and great throttle resolution.

sounds like it really needs a track to be really appreciated. are they are 2wd?

    Yes 2wd.:D

These are very sweet indeed. If the charger/battery/etc could all be bought separately (I already have a KT-18 & a Helios+ 2.4module) then I’d already own a DNano. I saw a Youtube vid of a box-Stock Mini-Z F1 racing against a box-Stock DNano on RCP and the DNano held its own. Impressive little machine the DNano is.:D

I heard a USA-release was in the works but that was a year ago… Does anyone know if the DNano is still going to be sold thru US-based distributers/Sellers?

In the last week I bought a mini-z 350z 2007 white body, painted it tamiya pearl white with black rear wing, mirrors, and carnards.

I then mounted it on the mini-z awd chassis only to find out that the rear of the autoscale is so low that it sc****s the ground – you can’t even press the rear of the car to test the springs out. Looks like kyosho got the mould wrong on this body.

I’ve some dremel work this weekend.

I love the 2007 Super-GT350Z – And you’re right, I don’t know how Kyosho expects anyone to run the body with the rear-end as low as it is. Even with the side-clips broken-off and re-set to make the body ride higher, the body still scrap-ed my RCP:huh:

So I (And basically everyone I know) hacks-off the whole rear-end of the ’07 Super-GT 350z so the bumper isn’t an issue. I also hacked-off the front lip via-dremel because when cornering the lip would hit the track also. Great body though once you get it sorted out:D

I have too many things on my workbenches to list… Everything Mini-Z-related. I need to get off my arse and ship my 2.4-MA010 off to my buddy to have a Nelly installed. I am thinking about a Nelly on one of my 2.4 MR02’s as well…

Happy to see this forum getting back in the swing of things!:D

First, thank you Aaron and all of the moderators who have made this site possible. I hope the problems you were having/are still having with this website are almost (or have been) fully resolved. I understand things happen, life throws curveballs at us all. Great to see that this forum will continue – For a while I wasn’t sure what was going to happen.

Big Thanks to Ph2t for his contribution to this forum. What’s up Matt!:D

I used to have an account on here, my user name was “LL3”. This account seems to be disabled. I had to re-register, and in the registration I had to choose a username of at least 5 characters – So I am thinking that my old username/account was deleted/disabled for this reason. No biggie, just wanted y’all to know who I still am:D I am a long-time subscriber and am happy to continue to be a member here.
