yeah, epochs are worth every penny! They have superb speed, and unsurpassed control for it’s size. you could add a 4 cell pack and the speeds would be compareable to a stock mini z(maybe faster, I’m not sure). The spec 1’s are better but cost more, you can find a speed racer set on ebay for lik $30, that’s a very good deal considering the price of what they are new in the box. the spec 1’s are about the same speed as a digi (skyline) and the spec 2’s are a bit faster.

heh he, the digi’s can’t be modded, and I wouldn’t suggest modding a 1 inch $40 car. Get the propo special controller, you can modify all stats on the digi, in speed, accel, brake, and turning radious. It is the one and only mod that you need, they are however a bit expensive, running almost as much if not more money than the car.

I know a lot obout these buggers, I wouldn’t suggest getting one, until takara comes out with the turret rotating ones. They simulate recoil when you fire the thing. they use ir controls, and have an ir battling system. each tanks has it’s own diffeernt speed, shot power, hit points, and reloading speed. they are very powerful, and will climb virtually anything that they can get their tracks on. I would like to get one, but the money is a bit on the steep side, maybe if they could lower the pice a bit.

all I have to say, is that they are a ripp off. I don’t like them, and I suggest that you stay away too. They are rear wheel turning, and they aren’t as fast as the regular digi. we were praying for a front wheel drive digi, that had modification possibilities but we didn’t get that. I would suggest getting an epoch or mini z f-1 instead, the pice difference is much greater, but they are worth it.

hey you guys, I have been dormant on this forum for a while, I’m glad to see ausmicro up in the running. I have a skyline, it is nice, and I got it for around $35 too. IMO I think that they deserv more attention, but they are very quirrly, and don’t handle all that great. They are speed demons though. they are kinda inconsistant in handling, becuase of the differential steering, butI have no problem with that. I heard that the digi q circuit course is nice. it is very large and has plenty of room for adjustments.
