The tires are rubber. The rims are plastic (look metal). I can make other gear ratios. Not sure about shipping to Aust. If you email me with your city and postal code I can get exact shipping rates.

I hope your scar heals well. haha
Hopefully when you’re up walking around from the surgery you don’t accidently step on the xbox bit, break it and tumble down a flight of stairs. lol blackeye:

Well Barrell,
There’s a strong chance that’s going to be the only one made. So, if you want all your friends to envy you (like they did me at one time…haha), then bid on that truck.

OK mates. I could only find 5 sets. So, the first 5 people to respond gets them. I think the cheapest I can do is $20 USD? That includes parts (knuckles, rear axle, the 5 spoke rims, fat tires), labor (dismantle a good chassis to get parts and the time to drill them and reset them on new knuckles and axles). I will charge exact shipping, whatever it is to your zip codes. They are small, lightweight plastic so I doubt it could really be more than a few dollars.
If you’re interested email me.

It’s the only one in exsistance right now. RCmod.com was going to sell them but they may not because they cost alot to produce and they would want to sell them cheap.

Just curious where you live because I need to practice breaking a safe lock. 😀

I have to agree with Shypo. The German alloy rims. Best clone – so far it’s the Shen Qui.

Quote:BIG spotlights like a safari rally carI was actually thinking about doing rally lights.
The trucks take alot of time to make and the parts are kind of expensive. RCmod.com said they would be interested in selling them, if biohazard and me were to make them. I may do it this way because they can get me the parts cheaper so it would be worth buying for you. I can’t make them cheap enough to resell them. I think with RCmod’s help we could make them cehap enough to buy at a good price.
I just made a video of the truck in action! If RCmod wants to work with me then I will posting the video on their website this weekend.
I will post the link here for the video or you can go to their site and look for it.
The rally lights sound like so much fun!:D

I can put them on knuckles and do the gears. Let me see how much the parts and how many I can find. Anyone else interested in a set?

Quote:did you extend the shell or just make a hood for the back of it?Cut roof off and extended it. Used 2 shells.
Quote:maybe you should modify the back (remove the middle gear) so it has the same ratio as the front otherwise you might cause a back emf and wreck a motor or twoPlan to compensate gear ratios with resistors.
Quote:what color are you thinking of painting it?Fade paint job. Pink and purple with a mother of pearl overlay, or camo.

Ah, you all make my heart so warm and fuzzy.
2 bad the tires cost $12 a set. If you ever want to do this mod you really need them because, they are the exact weight and size, so the car sits well on them and can easily turn and climb without running out of torque and getting stuck.
I have tried over 20 different sets of tires (seriously) and none work like these do.

Quote:is the steering a rack n pinion setup??It’s not rack n pinion now, but that is an idea being considered. Got to see what biohazard thinks. I will be posting more pictures and also some video on it driving around in the near future. It has changed a little since this picture was taken. I will try and get an updated version when I get a chance.
Did anyone like the blazer body? It’s made from 2 Toyota bb bodies and a steady hand. lol

I don’t mind answering questions and helping out mate. They were very easy to install since I got them already put on knuckles. That was a big help because it takes a while to take out the old ones, drill holes and then replace.
I did use a Dremel tool to cut around the front tires a little. Mostly on the body. The tires are a little fatter in the back, but you either buy them with spacers installed or you can Dremel some off the chassis. I chose spacers because it makes the rear wheels look better sticking out like that (I think so anyway).
