lets see if this works, fingers crossed
on the nelly in the pic i blew the top right fet(of the pic)& on the other one i blew the top left fet or if you hold the nelly with the motor wires facing away & the power wires towards you the pic blew the bottom right & the lithium blew the top right
yeah, its a 4×2 that i did myself, petewah called you about it & you sent me an email i replied by sending you a pic of the nelly still installed, i realised that they weren’t meant for lithiums when i took it out of the bag, installed it & melted it before i could touch the throttle…………..doesn’t take einstein to figure that one out, hehehe. the other one should be fine, its only an anima with alloy everything(pic below)
oh yeah, this pic was just taken, the nelly has since been replaced
tried that, no response………….
short answer pictured below, long answer probably too many amps the lithiums are 1500mA,the othercar had a custom wound(18turn0.7mm wire) which i blew in about a day, clocked about 70kph with a 11tooth for about 20mins then fried the brushes so went to silver & took a day to do the same
i’ve got 2 v1.2, both have been melted, i tried to replace the offending fet & now i have no reverse, i took it to RS Components & got the replacement fets & still nothing on either. seriously, i’ve had better success with 4×2 stack
i know what you mean, the echo tends to flip rather than spin, most of my narrow cars have that problem on the track, i can’t see the Lambo having any flipping problems similar to the McLaren

i like the idea of an indoor track or one that can be mved under shelter reguadless of the weather!
definately dude, portable track is a bigbonus.
hehehe, tell me about it, a tiny bit of speed stuffs up the whole setup, i had the same problem with my silver can with only 5 kph increase.
thanx for the compliment, i’ve been flying for about 6yrs & as i mentioned i learn’t in wind stronger than that, but i still managed to scare the crap out of myself when it went over the mangroves, phew, lucky to get that one back.
we generally get a few more people than that each week, i think the early morning rain scared everyone away
doh, doh, doh, must be something wromg with my pc
sorry guy’s, don’t know what happened with the video. i’ll try again
somewhere there, wasn’t really concentrating on the time as much as keeping my eyes open, very long day for me
i’m totally impressed with my TT01, you certainly had a bit of trouble keeping up kevsta, although withyour cartuned to the surface i’m sure it will be the other way around, but for now i’ll take the win, hehehe
well guy’s i had a great time racing, too much fun. got a video for everyone to watch
i wsill definately be there, nwew edges & all. massive track is on its way
god damm!! your butt stinks worse than septic tank full of rotton animal carcas’s, so much for self control, you certainlyblew that away, you almost knocked me onto the track with the first one & you didn’t go far enough away the second time, we all got hammered by that one & i’ll be chewing chunks for days. very verynice racing though & the 0.11 consistancy almost makes up for the (d)avgas, too good mate
oh yeah, nice work clearing the drivers stand dave very nice, hehehe
i guess i shouldn’t either, hang on i didn’t, damm it i have no excuse for destroying my car on the net anchor in the middle of the court at top speed (OUCH!!!!), actually there is an excuse, crap driver, hehehe
i used the same as kevsta to cut it but i used a roll of foam cut into strips for the edge, didn’t work as well as i thought, cheap at $5.50 per meter, i’m currently changing to the chopped up yellow mat, just a little bit harder than the foam i used.
check out this beast against my 02 McLaren, bloody huge!!!
doh! having trouble with the video, here’s another pic
video
ok guy’s i’ve got the pics & videos of the track in action
a good glue to use is the 3M 77 or 75 spray glue, you spray it on the edging, wait till it gets tacky, then stick it down, its just contact adhesive but the spray makes it easy to apply. also kevsta how did you post that pic, i’ve been trying to post pics of the track & videos of racing
very reasonabe, might get two, who am i kidding i’llprobably get more than that, hehehe
