it was a good day, lots of racing lots of damage. Sorry to hear about your beatle Geo-Z it was a great car, the fastest thing by far that day!

have to get another car to go that fast again dude.

On the day we even drew a crowd at one stage, they were amazed at our driving skills :p

anyway my Z is out of action again! i didnt tighten a wheel nut properly and well as i wasgoing full speed when i was using it outdoors, the left hand rear wheel flew off along with the bearing and wheel nut. (bugger)

now i have ordered more wheel nuts and some other goodies 😀

anyway wouldnt mind knowing the details of this track set up of yours dgs73?

i dont fink we should fill a can with water man, wat happens if one us (and they will) hit it. water everywhere on the track plus one dead Z due to water coming into the electronics. sounds like a good idea with the cans then maybe something conecting the cans to form a mini wall, foam sounds good.

have to talk to dgs and find out wat his idea is exactly.

ive got a Beatle RS and Pug 306 body coming in they will be my thrash bodies, might retire the focus or paint it black to look like my car :D.

ive got a new suspension set up in my car now, rear dampner and a ball diff, i got a full suspension kit but ill leave dat until i really need it me thinks.

what does everyone else prefer with suspension full on rear roll item or just a dampner?

had a good out. was cool to see a few Z’s going around.

couldnt believe how fast dgs plasma dash went would have been cool to see the top speed on the dyno.

well today a whoooooooooooooooole heap of parts came for me in the mail, so next time we all meet up which will be soon, i wont be running stock rear set up.

should of tried to organise arace more then just drags.

it handles really well bit of a tank in steerin on my tight and twisty track but with better gears/motors and hopefully some fets it will be mega sweeeeet!

even the lights are a nice touch.

thanks for the help guys it was great. this is what a club should do, a gathering of peoples who race/help/make fun of each other.

yeah i would be interested in seeing an “un broken” x-speed vrs a “broken” in one.

dudes i got my x-speed in the mail today aswell as some bearings!!

now ive installed the motor how the hell do i do the bearings? (im not joking i havent a clue)

it was part of package deal thing from ebay thats why i got it.

i tested the motor today and its quick, losts of low down torque not much top speed, but the car does flip when i steer tooo sharply or i hit a tiny rock.

next mod’s are full decked out rear suspension.

you wont be able to miss us at the courts, who can miss a bunch of guys yelling and screaming about how well they drive there r/c cars???????

ill bring along my z (der) a few bits (why not) and maybe my aerobird plane. should be a good day.
