    hello all again

i bought another 2 more h-1 hummers and i have to say i really like these cars. i already own from before and got the mosfet mod done by micro_amps (it flyssss btw)

i bought the new ones from tradingdirect for 12 bucks (ozzie) each what a deal!

but i got one question. i bought a 57mhz red hummer and a 27mhz sand camo hummer but the red hummer is a lot faster!!

what motor is in the red hummer???
i know these cars are clones so the motors might vary a lot depending on which car, but the 57hmz car is alot faster stock then the 27mhz cars i have bought now and in the past?????

Ok I edited a pic with an arrow. :):D

Can someone explain to me how this motor (or what appears to be a motor) works then?

if the car isnt a proportional steering car why does it have a motor at the front near the steering?

i recently bought some batteries from this place the 150nam ones and they are very good but a strange thing i discovered is that when i put them straight away in my BCG’s they seem to have some power in them already. thats before i even charged them on the charger.

    why is that?

how do you make a booster hummer?

put a new pcb in or is ther a way to modify the pcb in it?

i got 2x 3.8 motors and it fits really snug in the motor bay of a BCG cars.

but thats all good coz the motor doesnt move around at all because of it and it has a very good contact point.

    hay

well i have one of these h-1 hummers and its a great little car in stock form, with a great run time of up to 20mins run time on hard wood floors but like 15mins on carpet.

    but….

these things lack real power. so i had my modified a little bit.

i sent one off to get a MOSFET mod done and the little thing flew. it was great coz the run time didnt get affected.

but it still lacked some power so i changed motors on the hummer to a 2.6 (was the only spare motor i had. was a little difficult because the motor on these things are hard wired on, so after a few attempts it works. now the thing flys. as fast as a perfection 3.8 but has a lot more torque great for those little hills and carpet running.
so now i have a very cool little hummer.

just a question do hard wired motor get more voltage because they are wired straight from the pcb? or do the more carry more voltage?

because this car flys with the MOSFET mod, its actually keeps up with my dual cell bit with a perfection 3.8 on it.

i like hummers so much i bought 2 more one for me and one for a mate who now likes micro cars :D:D:D:D

    hello everybody

i just got my car’s back from micro_Amps and it is hellar cool!!!!!!!!

i compared the MOSFET car to a dual cell bit(not internal dual im afraid) i had with a 3.8 perfection motors (in both cars) and i tested them on carpet(thats where i do all my driving cause a table top is way to short)and the results were that the car with the MOSFET beat my dual cell!!!!!!!

i am very impressed because the MOSFET car can actually be controlled aswell.it is a booster car and off boost it runs as fast as a normal bit with a 3.8 motor in it, with boost it flyssssssss!. although you have to allow for larger turning circles but it doesnt flip over all the time like my dual cell bit. i also did some angle tests with the bit and it can climb up ramps of 45 degrees from a standstill. which is very impressive.

i also had my H-1 hummer modified by micro_Amps and this thing now has torque!!
it can run over anything basically!!!

    very impressed overall.

    thanks ph2t

yeah one side was not sitting flat up so dat was effecting the steering.

but the car needs more power and the gears are too high because when u put it forward then reverse its lacking torque. i think a dual cell would fix that problem and maybe some new gears……

damn i should really stop spending all my money on these things

my family already thinks i got a problem with these things

does anyone know if i swap the pcb’s on the hummer with another bit say an original bit or a Lxx bit would it improve the handling of the thing???

i got one of these lwb hummers.

it fits exactly on a die cast body i got but….. the actual car is s@#t its slow even with the original body on it and it doesnt turn that well. i could do a dual cell modd and new motor that could improve speed but the handling will still be bad.

so i was thinking maybe i could swap chips maybe using a lxx booster one. would i have to replace the steering wires aswell to fix the handling or will a better chip improve the steering reguardless?
