well it’s great to hear from ausmicro that they are interested in participating, well making the brochure is fairly easy but i need the info. for it like date, place, time and etc.

well first we hav 2 get a mock together i agree with that; like put your name for it so we can know who is actually going to race so we hav a clue how many are going to attend and etc.

But we hav to find a suitable place/suburb which suits us all

well that’s good i can design the pamphlet on publisher easily, fairly good job as weel 😀 and i’ll send it 2 u so u can print them out at ur brother;s work

well i don’t agree making the track wif markers because if we r hire the court we can’t damage the court or graffiti it. i would prefer building it like out of balsa wood or some long plastic board?

well as i said we need a mature person let’s vote who should b leader for the sydney mini-z club:

well i wouldn’t mind chipping in 5 or 10 dollars for a reasonable 1 lor 2 hour race indoor, i agree with dgs73 that we should promote it more as i said somewhere in this forum that we should make posters or something and stick it on hobby’s stores because most hobby shops arond my area actually sell mini-z and parts that means there are racers around but not actually racing

Problems:

1.we need a mature leader to actually hire a hall and build track
2. we need to recruit heaps of racers
3. a suitable place that suits all of us
4. age problem?

Hey all the hobby shops that i have been sells mini-z which includes Hobbies in the hill, Hobby shop in Pyrmont, Hobby Co near Town Hall and Hobby shop in Parramatta. This is a sign that a lot of people hav them. We should ask them if we could put up some sort of ad up to join the race at Meadow Bank park every sunday, so it would attract more people to come and race. Maybe later we get sponsor and have official races?
