i must admit to I’ve been working on a tt01, trying to get it to some kind of drift spec, its a fun process.
i got a mame cab too which i built out an old arcade machine i bought, they are the best, had a 4 player control panel but turned in to a 2 player. it was too wide with 4 player. love it to death. when i get a new house im gonna make a rear projection TV cab like the site down street fighter machines.lol i got the full set of .86 ROMS which is about 3500 working games = 60GB lol
i got it connected to the internet to play against other ppl, great for a rainy day. KOF97 rulez on the net…
well i hope there not playing with the plastic blow up type………..hahahahahaha
and i don’t mean bombs. (o)(o)well that might explain it. well then i have to buy a RM motor mount.
i tried this on my MR01 and it seemed to fit,lol the Ferrari 575 GTC did..
aslo in my ma010 it to fitted no prob, just needs the lay down crystal modDoes anyone else know of any other mr02 RM bodies that fit mr01’s.
diehard
still works for me, its a pdf so you will need acrobat reader installed 1st
i just read your post, damn man i feel for ya, i have herd this a lot on other forums that’s why i had never got one , sooooooo i dunno now, i might just keep on saving for my tt01 or hpi stage d.
http://www.rc-xpress.com/html/all.html
check this out, this is there official web site, might get 1 from rcmart, either that or a tt-01d
diehardthats a mini x i was loking at getting 1 of these too at one stage, i think you can get one rtr for 100bucks at an online store cant remember which one right now, i look it up for ya
there ok i hear althuogh the electrics are very very easy to blow, not that good to run very hard
well with the 2×2 stack not much if any difference with the stock motor, it dose seem like its a bit quicker of the line and the electrics sounds a lot quieter. i went for the 2×2 cause it still just fits under the plastic cover……..JUST, although i might end up doing a 2×3 and cutting the cover so it can fit.
i might try the tape trick tonight too.well i got the FDS9934C FETs installed in my ma010, i done (well my bro done it for me) a 2×2 stack, now i would like to know how hot a motor i could run in the thing??
also i did get the car drifting a bit on polished concrete i put 30* tyres all round wide on the back and normals on the front, but still has a bit of traction, that’s why i ask about the motor. although i might buy them drift tyres too.
once i have it drifting properly i will post the setup i have. thats all i want my ma010 to do…..driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiift lol
diehardwow, Aaron mate you are giving me hope. i myself is going through a dark patch in my life right now similar to what you went through, and i just got engaged 2 weeks ago and you know what? i myself is starting to come through on top.this community and these little cars help keep my sanity for just a couple of hrs a day, thats why i have taken such a shine to all of this. so keep up the good work and thank you to everyone that bothers to take time to read and reply to my posts………… Happy Birthday Ausmicro……….
diehardthanks guy, does anyone even bother with side mirrors, cause i cbf….lol
hey betty.k got any pics i can see… looking for sum ideas for my next job.and would it be stupid to paint the skirts and bumpers with a brush, i really want these to be black
will these fets allow the hot motors to run in my 010 and also what kinda stack am i looking at 2×2 2×3 ????
i saw the fets on ebay they are a 10 pack

I think an aggresive camber is also good for drifting along with the stock (0 deg) offset. I’m not sure though, it ain’t my specialty, lol…
the sirface will most likly be tiles and maybe i got some polished concrete in the shed. i got some 30o tyres i might give it ago 2morrow.
as for the camber. no idea can ya point me into the right direction for some info explaining the camber on theses things, is it just like in real cars. is that what the diff steering knuckles ares for??? sorry if ya cant understand what im trying to say. im sooo tired.
damn i got ripped off with them caps i got at the hobby shop i paid $6 for 5 there. today i went to jaycar and got 18 for $3.60. Thats .20c each
o well lesson learntwell i cant answer anything about the motors but the bodies just fit straight on.
I got a few mr01 bodies and with the 1 that’s on it now you just need to shorten the body by removing the 4 screws that hold the back end (2 on top and 2 on bottom) see pic, change the spur gear to a shorter 1 and screw it back together and your off. although some bodies need that lay down crystal adaptor to fit.
lololol man i think u might need to make a track up….not that i can talk.lol
hahaha never thought of that before. i wonder how the chopper would go next to a bees nest…………
is that the yellow stuff your talking about, my dad uses that on everything. it is the best but it just need over night to dry
looks pretty sweet man, looks as it has got some nice take off too. how long do the lipos last in that??
…….well done
o well thanks anyways, maybe we should recruit an insider at kyosho
