im alot of things but i aint no leader :approve:
well if ausmicro can help out it would be great! sponser us maybe? provide an area so the ‘club’ can post some pics of envents. the artwork would be great.
Tim make a mock up of the pamphlet dude try to use some of ausmicro logos aswell saying that up to date info can be had here. just got to organise with a few other people a hall or gym or something.
hopefully dgs73 track idea can work out if he needs a hand ill help!
as for public liabilities well we will take one step at a time.
first step get a mock get together in a hall with a track.
after that we can get more people and discuss how to pay each month and hopefully get some sponsership deals.
maybe we could use 1/10th scale tracks in the sydney area? or are they tooo large and too expensive to use??

well i finailly went around and bought a mini z 😀
its mr-01 ford focus 2001 rally special.
it was cheap so i folked out the cash and got it, should arrive soon (i got the fast shipping option)
so when it gets here who wants a race?
Tim for your points they are easily done. im sure if we hire a indoor hall it would be easy to set up a track, all is needed is markers not much of a big deal.
im sure we can heaps of racers even if we start out with 3 or 4 people its a start!
we could organise a once a fortnight or month meeting and im sure we will get people coming no matter where it is just to race there cars.

well ive never been attacked by birds i usually attack them first!
the other morning i had 3 magpies try to fly in formation with my aerobird.
maybe they were trying to attack it but i quickly turned and chased them away.
im waiting for a bird to try to play chicken with my aerobird at full speed :p

i did a tricell mod to one of my clones once and it kept on destroying motors!!!

maybe you should upgrade your landing gear of that of a aerobird, nearly all the parts are interchangable with the XL.
plus hobbyco sells tailplane’s.
does the XL have a cut out feature? if not just shut the engine down before landing, prevents any damage of a fast moving blade on a wing.
also they sell a 7 cell batt which gives more power, maybe that will give you the extra grunt u need.
dont let that stop ya dude!
i heared that the XL can take a beating so glue it back up, or buy another wing so the thing can fly again.
when your done fixing it modify it so you can do a sonic boom with it!
well first off the days i booked for handgliding were canceled due to poor weather and since then i havent had a chance to go flying! tooo many family things and work is a bitch:sad:
anyway i was flying my aerobird today and wanted to know how fast i can put this thing in a dive. i built upalitiude and from 100plus feet i pointed the nose down! i went extremely quick down and i pulled up before i snaped a wing or went too fast to recover. the interesting bit is that after i landed safely! (woohoo) i noticed that the paint off the leading edge of the wing has rubbed off, leaving a thin of no paint!
ive never seen this happen before so i must of went real fast in that dive to cause that to happen.
next is more flight batteires i do 10-15 minute flights with this batt but it doesnt seem enough so im gonna get more so i can extend my flight times and really scare the birds at my park!
trash your flying real planes now!?!?!!? ive flown a cessna 157 or 172 i cant remember the exact name, was truly a cool experience. i would do it but i aint got the cash and i aint got the skills at math to get my ploits license.
pork_hunt get that bird of yours flying dude!!! its good to hear that the mirage is up and flying again.
btw i have to do handgliding still im not chickening out i just have to put my arse into gear.

anyone flown their planes as of late?
i fly my aerobird regularly and i am trying to do more stunts then loops.
the De Tomaso pullback looks alright, but yet again they have pushed back the release date for the Lotur Europa back until March! when will they ever release these things!

dude that second pic aint a ferrari its suppose to be a De Tomaso Pantera. i reckon thats original. i might get it they are cool ass sports cars with ford v8 motors in em. a cross between european looks and american muscle.
it looks like a ferrari because thats how the the De Tomaso cars looked like in real life. maybe its just that pic that does it no justice at all. anyway ill get one of the pb shells anyway 😀
