foam core is good stuff, its light, tuff and pretty cheap. you can get it from most art stores for about $5 for an A2 sheet. i used thick card board for a base and the foam core for rails and roads. if ur wondering about width of the roads, 16-20cm is a good size for 2-3 cars racing at the same time. you could also make the together with a mate so you can split the costs but it shouldnt be that pricy if you look around in different places.
What price would the HR30’s be? sent to Perth?
cheers

Could it be that one of the little coils that are loose? I think instead of the coil attracting the magnet, the magnet attracts the coil, dragging the coil over, putting the steering out of whack.

well factory mods, such as tires and upgraded sway bar thing. it actually started when i put in a 3.0 motor. but i already ordered another one for 15 bucks, so i guess il play around with that and see if i can find the prob by switching parts and isolating the problem.
hey lobsters how did you go about cutting the roof off? the obvious answer would be with an exacto knife but is there an easier way?
still didnt fix it for me 🙁
thanks bro. i got the trueno collector set in japan a few years back and just dusted it off this week. feels great to be getting back into this thing. where in japan are you located? my moms family is all living in nagoya.
im having the exact same problem with my basically stock BCG. when i drive or push it forward it drives right and when i push backwards it turns in the opposite direction. i tried using a stiffer steering center spring but that didnt do much.
