Quote:bilbo, sorry, didn’t read ya post properly! but ya still a half pint!:p:8ball:
I’m a Hobbit (or Halfling if you must), get it right:).
No problems, I’ve been called worse.
Just don’t call the Hobbits late for dinner, they get testy when not fed regularly.Logistically I would think teams should be based in one country or the other, that way cars aren’t being sent from Germany to USA to Australia for the teams to work on.
Quote:yeah, i think an internal comp to decide the representatives is the way to go.Quote:Maybe have the USA and EU compete amongst themselves for a individual title.whassa matter half pint! doncha think we’re contenders down here!!:D
Hmm. I guess you didn’t read it the way I meant it.
The USA teams would compete against themselves to have one USA Representative (same for EU). I know y’all know how to mod, I’ve been beaten enough times in comps by residents of the land of OZ.
Maybe the teams should be
Austrilia & New Zealand
Canada
USA NE
USA SE
USA NW
USA SW
EU West
EU East
EU North
EU South
Central America (Mexico to Panama)
South America
Japan
Asia
AfricaMaybe a freindly comp to decide who represents which area and then the winning teams from those areas then compete for the World Cup of Modding.
Maybe have the USA and EU compete amongst themselves for a individual title.
I think you should try and live in the area you represent (but not required)
Maybe have the USA and EU compete amongst themselves for a individual title.
Teams can call themselves whatever they wish but they represent a region.
I wonder whom I could get to represent the Shire with me. 😀
For dual members how about the Aussies default to AusMicro and the Americans to BitPimps. Then the rest of the world choose who’s side they want to compete with.
Any idea when the winners (and losers) will be announced?
Toy East is based in Hong Kong, I’ve ordered twice from them and no problems.
I’m guessing the parts are made in China. LXX may also be part of the Perfection group like I believe Mini Heart is.

Probably because if they really sued someone they would lose big time. Tomy/Hobbico doesn’t like international Tomy cars in the US because it hurts their sales. If they would sell all the cars all over the world at the same time for the same price they wouldn’t have people undercutting them on eBay.

Here’s the first Hobbit Entry.
Project: Pony Express
Body: Zip Zap Mustang, shortened to fit BCG and convertened to convertable.
Chassis: Precious, Tab Lowered front and exhaust tip attached to chassis. Wheels Painted Gold to match paint scheme. Blue Cat5 antenna.
The idea for shortening the body came from seeing CaboWabo’s Challenger.
I lowered the body by Tab lowering the Chassis in the front and making a custom slot in the rear of the body for the tab.
Side skirts and front air dam (of course).
Driver is from Phast Motors, but I really had to chop it to fit.
Of course I detailed the side mirrors and head and tail lights.
I figured I needed to put up at least one entry from Philadelphia, PA USA.
Hope you like it.
Quote:C’mon people, where are your entries in the “Show us yer bits” competition?????So far the majority of poeple that have entered aren’t even regulars on the boards…….
You know who you are, get off yer backsides and show us what you can do!
ph2t.
Don’t you realize that entries for contest always start out slow then come in fast and furious just before the deadline.
The reasoning is you don’t want to give away your ideas for somebody to borrow and possible do it better and beat you.
Me I’m personally working on some new cars for this contest.

Hello Crazy Dave.
With Cabo, You and DarkTari entering the contest this little hobbit will have to work harder. And you know how Hobbits prefer eating to working.
Yes it is Bilbo from BitPimps, TinyRC and RCmod.
OK, I’ll post a few.

Last for Today
Car: GT-W
Chassis: MS/Tomy
Body: MS/Tomy Skyline R32
Mods: Well I chapped the back off and made it into a wagon (or do they call it an Estate down there). Custom Exhaust tips. Cat 5 Antenna. Nakamichi Racer Rims.
Is it only for BCG’s and Clones or can ZipZaps be entered.
When does it end?

What’s wrong with Saturns? My wife has one. The original ones wouldn’t be bad for Bits.
The Omni I’m assuming you mean the Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizen. Only the Sport version would be good on Bits.
Not never make a Dodge Aspen. Ford Fiesta, Any 80’s GM X cars. Yugo. AMC Matador.
How does the car drive with those wheels?
Are the tires rubber?I’ve seen Modifiers in the US for under $12.00US, not sure of the conversion to AUS dollars. Haven’t picked one up yet, now I may have to if they drive well on the BCG.
