The tie rod positions are the same as the RC18.

Pin though the axle just like the RC18’s

this is weird…. ended up not going for the pro-pulse but some cheap china knock off of a buggy. check it out. look familiar at all?????

I’ve seen them on eBay but the shipping costs were wicked. They made it look a little like kyoshos Mini Inferno not Associated RC18B.

Try Philadelphia, PA, USA. We seem to only have two seasons, the current Too Hot Summer (90 degree F and 65-80 percent humidity) and Too Cold Winter (high temps 10-20 degree F and don’t forget the wind chill factors of -25F.)

Some years we do have a few days of Spring and Autumn.

hmm…. i guess i’m gonna have to risk it since i don’t know anyone that lives in the states.

where did you get the hummer shell from? the stock one looks pathetic!

thanks for all the info th bilboFOL!

    The stock shell is Fugly.

The hummer is ProLine’s Hummer SUT for the Mini-T, the wheel wells don’t match up exactly but I don’t mind it. Most guys seem to install bodies for the RC18T, but the RC18MT bodies will fit better.

The plus that many RC18 parts will fit the Pro-Pulse (some will need a little modification.) My next thing for the PRO-T100 may be 10th scale sedan rims. If you have a Pro-Pulse and want to run the sedan rims you will need a hex adapter and with most of them you will also need RC18T stub axles. But I found out that the RC18 Hex adapters from Driven Productions (available from the toyz) will work with the Pro-Pulse axles.

The current sale may be over by then, but RS may have it again.

They are 18th scale, a copy of the Team Associated RC18 series. I’ve run mine on carpet and a dusty concrete back alley. They will run on dirt but you will have to watch the gears, as with the RC18’s they don’t have a cover on them and will pick up dirt.

RS in the states has a bundle on sale for $99.95 (USD) for a Buggy or Truck, 1200mah battery and overnight charger, tires, bumper set and high speed motor. If you have friends in the states they can get it and ship it to you, or you can check and see if Radio Shack’s web site will ship to you. Check the weekly ad for the bundle price.

It’s Called a Pro-Pulse PRO-T100 in America, available only through the Radio Shack Stores here. It is made by a company called Megatech, I don’t know if they have released it world wide.

The truck (or buggy PRO-B100) is only $99.99 USD without batteries or charger. You can use the flat pack batteries from the RC18T (it’s a copy of the RC18T) and the stick battery pack will fit but you have to change out the connectors.

Radio Shack did have a sale about a month ago for the vehicle, battery and charger, tires and bumper kit for $99.95, the wife and I got ours at that time.

I’ve seen refurbished ones on eBay for $49.95 plus shipping.

Well I didn’t like the way the hood decal looked (and neither did some others) so I decided to fix it.

    HummerSUT7.jpg

I’m probably going to put the high speed motor in the truck and possibly gear it for real high speed (15/53) for a few runs. But since I race on a short track that may not be benificial.

The added benefit is that the body looks bigger than stock but in reality it doesn’t sit as high in the air. I’m going to be checking handling on the track in a few days.

i like the mini t body, great looking paintjob:thumbs_up:

you’ll wanna have another go at the brp body lines, i know you can do better!:D :8ball:

I was slightly disappointed with the Mini T body because I laid the Faschange Purple too think that it didn’t come out even with the black undercoat. Now that I have an internal mix airbrush (Paasche) and a compressor I can use in the house that puts out enough psi I might have some better results.

I just have to convince the wife to allow me to get some more bodies. :smiley14: I’m not supposed to buy more until I paint the ones I have (only 4 left for me to paint). Plus she took my second and painted it herself. I really have to get a picture of hers, Dark Purple with pearl purple flames.

I’m going to be painting BRP’s stadium truck starting tonight as week as a Trinity Brew Hauler body for the Mini T.

As soon as I get a scale I’m going to weight the Mini T and then start putting on all the purple aluminum parts the wife got for me. I want to see how must it adds to the truck, one of the people at the track was kidding about them becoming lead sleds.

At least you aren’t in America.

The neighbors would have taken the copter and then sued you for harassment. 😀

    Very American also.

There was a tv ad once that had a dog leaving his owner by hopping into the new truck next to his owners. But nowadays I think you have to put the dog in a cage.

could try mod the front grille to the billet look like on show Furds.

I don’t like the shiny chrome/aluminum look on most vehicles. Some 50’s vehicles need it but on a work style truck I don’t particularly like it. I even dechromed the roll bar on this truck.

    70’s High School Flashback.

I haven’t seen that much fluorescent paint in years.

Might be fun for a 24 hour endurance race, that if the competitors don’t go blind from the neon.

    great job there man:topstuff: :8ball:

Let’s see how it does in the Bit Pimps Contest.

You’ll notice I don’t do much to the chassis. Where I run them there really isn’t the need. I mainly to an antenna mod to increase the range. I sometimes vary that between Pig-Tail, Straight and Double Twisted.

Plus wait till you see what this hobbit has up his sleeves for his next ride. I have 2 in the shop of the Hobbit Hole.

    It’s not a T-Top.

But will it be a Roadster, Targa, Convertable, Moon Roof, etc.? What Colour?

It does look cool, and if I had a club of friends racing it would be worth it. But for my personal need a BonzerMat works well.

The owner of the Quest fo Madness site had other obligations (a job:)) that was going to keep the site from being updated. All the parts that they sold are supposed to be available from TinyRC. I liked dealing with QFM when they were selling parts.
