More coils would equal more resistance I think, but that’s where my electronice knowledge runs out. I’m not sure if that would shorten the battery life or not. Anyway, by redoing your own coils you would no doubt end up with something different form the originals, either under or over.

I wonder what results more coils of a finer wire, or less coild of a thicker wire would produce. Play around Shypo and Scotty, and let us know.

The results of that should go in the technical area here and on QFM.

AusMicro Decals….

Not a whole sheet, just two decals the right size for the side, or rear spoiler of your Bit or MiniZ?

So, how many people would pay $1 (plus postage of 50? in Aus, or $1.50 international) for AusMicro Decals.

So does the plastic for the mould press against the inside of the produced shell (convex mould), or the outside of the shell (concave mould)?

If it pressed against the outside (concave mould), you would have better defined body lines (bonet, door, etc). But with a concave mould you would need it to be softer if you had things extruding form the shell, like side mirrors.

What other European sports cars are you planning to do. I might hold out till you have a larger range.

I agree. I think there would never ever be a difinitive list of all cross referenced clones. An impossible task… which just takes longer. =o)

Oh no, mines a GIF. I’m sure there’s a JPG version in the Avtars (for me to select anyway).

Sign me up for a T shirt. Obviously $100 for a T is too much… cheaper the better. Just warn me in advance first. Even if it’s just the logo on the front. I’d prefer screen printed in the middle of the chest, but if embroiderring is the only way, then the logo over the nipple.

Sure, but I think if people keep adding, even if there’s duplication, this would become a more complete list.

Also, his document seemed to deal with only what fits a BCG, but what about other clones stuff fitting other clones, especially the stuff that doesn’t fit a BCG. Sureley someone would find that handy.

Sounds like decals are a simple plan then. Only $20 up front for A&D.

Getting a few hundred people to sign up for stickers is quite unlikely. Probably only 20-50 people would sign up for T-shirts, and that would depend on price.

Interested in the BCG bodies if you have them – GTO, the Lemans, the Porsche and the Mini (a purple one with a union jack on the roof if you can manage it). Do you do those for BCG? If so, can you email me some more pics of those ones please?

Exaccery. Who cares where they source them from, as long as they fit the cars, and with the sticker on them in nice prominent displaym when the cases go to race meets, they’ll be advertising to the people who need to see the site – other RC people. Perfect plan, eh.
