nice work.
Wow. I’m touched. I’m almost speachless.
Thanks guys. Special thanks of course to Ausmicro (the best Micro RC site on the globe), and Bithed over at PanicToys.
The reason I like AusMicro is because the people are all so helpful and friendly – this just proves it.
I have been so busy with various family medical dramas that I haven’t even had time to check out who won the “Show us yer bits” comp. Must do that now.
Thanks again.
unfortunately there has been some delays (The judges are all busy with more urgent problems in their real life), but we’re all planning on getting something in to Aaron this week.
The wires on the perfection lights seem to be a little too short to me. Perhapr they’re the perfect length and thus leave little room for getting them in the car any way other than perfectly. I’ll be pulling mine apart and replacing the wire with some a little longer so I can get the damn things in and out.
I think projects lie these migh be what the new buttons are for on the SBCG controller???
A background for some of you who wanna be homies

Best I could do at short notice. Enjoy.
Post your photos in the gallery and let me know. =o)
The newer the batteries in the TX, the longer the run time, and the more torque the motor seems to have, especially with Energizers I’ve noticed, though I remember reading that one model of Energizers should be avoided because they put out more than the standard amout of power for a AAA. no idea how much truth there was in that though.
Replacement battery for in the car sells for around $5, so enjoy a little overcharging I say, just don’t let the battery get hot!
I’ve read a few times that the foamy part of oven cleaner will remove the pain, but leave the plastic intact. I have never tried it, nor seen it tried, so wait until you have confirmation from someone you trust that it works, or try it on a cheap clone body first.
There’s a point. Being that size, even if they were under torqued, they could fit a v12 into the space a BCG motor gets into now. Well… maybe a v6, but either way, that’s pretty wild.
I wonder if they could be hooked up to do the function of pistons? hmmmm…. where’s Ph2t?
Nice on Impreza. =o)
nice work man.
nice work with the lights Ph2t. Good use of the backgrounds too.
But they are out. That’s what gripes me. The lambo and ferarri sets are SBGC, and don’t utilise the buttons, not even for a boost, which is the best thing since hearing George Michael got arrested.
He said he stepped on it, and also drove over it. The watch is a write off anyway. Sounds like it wasn’t exactly a rolex to start with anyway.
I like the glints that have been photoshopped into the images on DarkTaris work. Nice touch to the image..
Every time I see XMODS I read it SCMODS, and then I get the whole blues bothers thing happening.
Take it to a Jewlers, and ask them to just take the back off for you. They should do it for free if they aren’t money grabbing bastards.
Just like getting rid of Cowboy X… “It’s so crazy it just might work.”
Quote:…get into it yourself and draw out the circuit, its not that hard really.
:)uABloody smart arse. :smiley2:
What’s inside the car? Is there a driver in there?
The booster sets. (AM and Fairlady).
Haven’t run my SBCGs yet. Wife hijacked them for the kids for Xmas before I even got them out of the box.Gotcha. Thanks.
Looking good. What’s the chance of scaling it down enough though?
I call it “munted wreckage”. hahahahaa
The TOMY fiasco??? Do tell?
