Wouldn’t you know it. I go to check out his site, and htis site host is having trouble. I’ll check it out later today. He’s a good man.

Is he the same BitHed that was providing that UK site with all their inside info a year or so ago? If it is, he must have some amazing contacts. He had photos of the prototype BCGH Mini which was scrapped before production when BMW denied Tomy the rights to make them. Good peson to be in kahoots with.

I wish more Aussies were enterring. And don’t look at me, I was involved in getting this off the ground, so I don’t think I should enter.

I’d like to see the schematic, the design, and the finished product of a charger that can provide a timed charge to perfectly charge 4 (or with the new SBCGs up to 10) BCGs at once. Just put the cars on, press a button to start the charge, and take the cars off once the light goes off to say they’re all ready to go.

This way all people having a race would have fair and equitable starting point, so it’s be down to drivers skill, car tuning, and perhaps little differences in motor quality (assuming they’re all rated the same).

I could work it out if I had the time, but I don’t.

Read the very first post in the Competition entries discussion completely. Everything is explained in there.

BitHead, what’s the chance of buying an Enzo shell without the car (I already have enough cars, inc the Ferarri and Lambo sets.)? Pleeeease? =o)

I like the colour of the Gloria there Barto.

International money orders, international bank cheques, and Western Union all cost about the same.

Post Offices have a 1 use credit card thing you can buy, like a phone card, only for credit card purchases. Check it out, I think it’s a lot cheaper than the above alternatives for purchasing online.

This should be moved to General Discussion too if any admins are reading through, eh. =o)

I wonder if that camera could be pulled apart and spread out in a BCG? it would definately fit in a MiniZ by the looks of it.

Yeah, but I have a feelking it’ll just be all he old gags regurgitated, much like the movie length Black Adder that they did 10 years after the last show. If it is, I’d rather watch my fave old episodes.

I wonderred about this one before, especially when people talk about the drift wheel favouring donuts in one direction. A design fault to be sure, and one that could have been easily rectified with a spacer on the non geared side, though this may have meant having to provide extra plastic to the chasis all along that side, and perhaps moving the PCB over a little, and thus perhaps changing the ballance of weight, thus creating another problem.

Clever. Nice and cheap, yet not boring. I like the fact you can change the track whenever you like – mine was based on a similar idea.

Nice thinking with the red stripes – very simple to do, and easy to find the materials.

Excellent work! You’ve shown everyone how to make a good track, any size they want, for very little expense.

It aired in the late 90’s and I think even into 2000, maybe 2001 also.

There’s the book out too, which is basically the 1st series except not on a flashing screen.

Watch the first few episodes so you get a jist of the whole concept, and the characters.

Other episodes of notible worth – Kryten (get to know another character), Stasis leak, Paralell Universe, Backwards, Polymorph, Time slides, Last day, Quarantine, Back In The Red – Part 2.. Oh I could go on for days…

It used to be on ABC. Hasn’t been on for a few years, but you smegged up if you missed it. Track it down in a vid shop.

I think it was a shame to leave out a function thatthey already have in some of their cars (the booster function), as all it needs is a pulsed signal. Very easy to do, surely. Can’t understand why they left it out. It’s the best feature of any of their cars really.

The two buttons on the controller seem to do bugger all on the Ferrari and Lambo sets. I can’t see any difference when I press them.

Yeah. I like the Supras. For my money it’s the best shaped body too. Until now.

The sets are great. A little more attention to finishing details could have been done I think (Lambo wheels have burred holes where they were drilled), but I’m really struggling to find anything wrong with them. I must say I’m disappointed they’re not boosters, but the bodies look great.

The Ferarri comes with an extra set of gold knuckles and rear rims.
The Lambourg comes with a key tag type thing.
Other than that it’s 3 bodies, the car, a controller, and a strap to attach to the controller so it’s no so easy to drop. Still have a screw in battery cover (why??). might give them a fly on the track after work today.

English Comedy. Check it out sometime. Don’t watch series 5 though, it was trash. Watch anything from series 1-3.
