that’s awesome!… what’s the thingy you use to track the laps? that’s cool.. where do you get them? when we race at work warehouse we have to have a person sit out to count the laps.

i thought canberra banned fireworks now? they just have more porn instead. Definately get out of canberra.. only live in canberra if you’re a politician or you work in a industry who’s target market is politicians. forced change is awesome.. makes u do things with your life that u’d never thought of and u’ll be better for it in the end. make the best of it..

i don’t have a micro yet.. but i do solder…got 2 soldering irons.. a standard weller for my normal jobs.. for finer jobs i’ve got a goot 13w soldering pencil.. awesome soldering iron with a .2mm tip.. great for finnicky jobs.. from what i’ve seen on the net.. prolly a good iron for stacking fets… when soldering.. my theory is to have everything at hand.. half assing jobs when you don’t have the right tools when soldering makes life hard. desoldering braid and a solder sucker are life savers.

nah.. i don’t play like that. Which is why i’ll prolly be buying 2 iwavers.. one to mod up and tinker with and one to keep as bog a possible for the races. It’s all about parity.. like the v8’s 😀

February 22, 2006 at 9:36 am in reply to: iwaver’s.. are the parts really compatible with miniz’s? #44005thanks all for the replies. especially kerosene. We’re mainly looking for something that’s cheap and that we can ‘bash’ around in. We’re not really lookin to be serious racers but just havin a bash around the work warehouse for pride and slabs(cartons/cases to those north of the border). The reason I asked about the parts is that I’m sure that things will break, and I just wanted to know how simple it would be to get spares. Obviously if you can use either iwaver or miniz parts you’ve got alot more options then if you just could use iwaver parts.
keep your opinions coming. 😀

nother quick question..
in terms of racing area? if you had 5 or 6 cars.. what would u say is the smallest room you could get away with without it being a dodgem car derby. Cause I’ve never seen one go i have no idea. It all ammo in the spiel i’m giving to my workmates to convince them to fork out for em 😀
