Dave, a clone? I know it is a dirty word to many, but a good chassis to practice mods on:) Nothing worse then killing a bit:dead:

I think seeing them on the best car for a three color mod, will do wonders for this site on the net. The owner would have that to brag about for a few months on the site, as well as have his/or her car on the home page.. I think it is a win, win. Ausmicro gets a free use of the pics on the site and the owner gets a rare item, that not many other ppl have, yet:) All we need is the decal, size, location, and the go ahead from Aaron… as well as the contest run by Barrelll. Sounds like a bit of work, but doable. Again, I will pitch in, where I can, if help is needed to give this thing some feet.

Have already offered to help write the rules for the comp or help judge. Heck, I would even through in one of the two t-shirts I bought as a prize if asked.

Hmm. I bet I could guess:) Saw the micropets (new ones imported from Japan) in a toy store here, thought about getting one (because it is Tomy) but the owner advised me not to unless I knew Japanese. I don’t, so I put it back:(

True, there is no question on his ability, and most ppl who deal in speed, ie sprinters, drivers, speed skaters, sprint cyclist come off as being arrogant, but sometimes you have to be to be those few hundreths better then the next person.

Given a few more laps, I think he would have moved up even more.

Barrelll, for cat 2 set one of the 3 as a primary paint, say has to be on 50% of car:) and let us know the blue you want, maybe anything lighter then royal blue (to match the site)??? Should everyone leave room for a decal on the hood etc??? Dave will they be ready for the winners? That would be a very nice pic indeed:) And for cat 3 make sure you tell ppl if it will be judged on the mod or the paint job. Or a combo of the two?

4 shots would be ideal Lazboy, but I guess see what ppl submit. It would also be nice to see progress shots with the final submissions, but again maybe see what ppl submit.

A boob, or should I say noob prize would be nice, but don’t advertise it just give it. Otherwise someones lible to take a hammer to a bit and submit it in the mod cat

I didn’t like him when he first came out, thought he was kind of cocky (still is) but you have to admit he is a good driver (even when he crashes in to ppl:shock: on purpose or otherwise:smiley2:)
