Dave, nice work.. Just one thing who was doing the nice driving? You or your kids:)
Just got back from holiday… What happened? how and why:(
If you are just reattaching them you should be ok without sandpaper, since the ends should already be bare. At least I was able to re-establish a good contact when I re-soldered mine on, don’t ask how they came off in the first place…:smiley9:
Oh, just scrolled down the page and saw the busses. Now that looks like it has alot of room for additions…
I agree Lazboy, the trucks look very nice. The Semi’s look like you could add alot of extras to them as well:smiley1:Might be a good bit to mod? What is with that track/off-road course though?
Wild Char-G???
Good work, keep it up
I also have the Merc., it is a nice body except the top seems a little out of wack?? The Peugeotis the nicest non-bit body I own. I know the fast and furious and other zip zap bodies are nice, but I am going to stick to bit sized bodies.
Sorry lancer, I’m out West.
Just a thought, what mhz is it? Do you have anything your place that might run at the same freq?? Maybe try it in a few different rooms to see if it still does this? Again just a thought.
Cheers.
Once again I agree with PandaBear (why are you always right?). Are you using a 3 V lithium battery to power your LED’s or are you using your NiCd to run them? You may want to, if you put a switch in your circuit, turn off your lights and see if it charges then? Need more info…
Pcain, I have a few Bensu’s, I think they are under OEM Bullet at toyeast. They are ok. The Subaru looks Very much like a Lancer and a McLaren body I bought (BitChar-A, made by Leyu toys) looks alot like an RX7, I was hoping it was a McLaren. The Peugot Bensu that I picked up is still one of the nicer bodies I have seen:smiley4:. They are great to practice on, either racing wise or mod wise due to their low cost.
Same question from me?
The Z-cars are here in Canada too. Zellers carrys them for $29 or $39 CND, I can’t remember? They look smaller then the bit? As for mis-labeling, I know first hand that Hongli comes really close with their package and labeling (Char-G) to the bits, but that is about as close as I have seen. When I first saw the MicroSizers, I had to look twice at the labeling. I guess if you check the forms and see licensed by Tomy on the box you should be safe. Anyone see the Hotwheels track racers (didn’t see the name)? They could be a cheap source for parts 🙂
Be very careful with the spring, it tends to pop out on you. I would suggest doing what PandaBear suggest either over a large white sheet of paper or on a large flat surface. I almost lost a spring in the carpet when I first tried to re-glue a coil on one of my clones. It is kind of like a contact lens when you loose it…
hijukal, take back the s2000 if you can, and still have the receipt. Better to replace it with one that works out of the box. Wait until you start taking it apart for mods, before you try to fix it yourself:smiley9:(speaking from experience).
Don’t Zip Zaps have same size wheels on the front and back? I would think that they should fit on the bits, if you can get a hold of one. I seem to remember seeing a mod like this somewhere…
I guess I would say the… hm thats a tough one. I also like the looks of theSupra and the 350z. The skyline seems to be growing on me (literally) I have 3 bodies now.
Impreza (blue) 27 mhz, soon to come Lancer (red if I can find it @ 49 mhz)…and abunch of clones at least one per freq. I’ve bought 8 cars total. plus lots of motors, bodies, tyres, gears and hubs (zip-zap) etc. The mazda cosmo and modellista sets look really cool 😛 Chris nice collection, did you mod the black Impreza (wheels, grill)?
Hey Ryuenjin I found one of the posts in the form that talks about your problem. Check out General Discusions. Topic: Micro Racers (OEM bullet cars). It is not as clear an answer as I first thought but it may help? check it out.
cheers.
Oh yeah, I think the microsizers nowhave six avalible models, still only 2 freq’s. Celica, Impreza, Lancer, Bb, S2000, Rx7. I saw them at Target (not all six models… no Toyota’s) for $30 USD.
Thanks Chris, you really did your research. Toretto, you can see most of the best of the rest on http://www.toyeast.com. There are a few other OEM’s there as well, I didn’t know there were sooo many??? Another player here in NA only??? is the zip zaps, they are slightly larger then the bits and only some of there parts are interchangable?? They go for $20 USD. Chrisis the China Island Bullet the same as the Bensu Bullet??
Cheers,
I have not ordered anything from toyeast personally so I don’t know how they handle orders etc.
Hey Ryuenjin, if you look thru the forms a few other people have posted this problem before. It most likely is a tourqe issue with your motor, more power to your left rear side. I can’t remember the exact physics but look thru the tech forms and you should find an answer. How do you like the 350z?, it looks sweet. What freq, motor, etc???
evayang, I agree with b_drift. When I first started to poke around inside the car I accedently:smiley9:disconnected a few wires on the board in the car(the forward and left turn to be exact). I was able to solder both back on with little difficulty and my car was up and running again:smiley4:. I suggest you follow Pandabear’s suggestion and use a magnifying glass and check the underside of the circuit board on the rear-right side of the car for loose wires, I believe there is a small L where the wire attaches to the board. I hope this helps
cheers.
Thanks for the advice Panda
