Thanx man! Right now my cars are on display at the Ben Maltz gallery in L.A. and I was stupid enough not to shoot any footage of the micro big body….I will get it back within a month or 2 and make sure I shoot a nice video or you guys!:smiley14:

Well, finally I finished my 1/64 RC micro ’96 Fleetwood….it lifts the rear smoothly, hops the front and steers and drives. It was a heck of a job and I’m prolly not gonna build another one…hehehe.

I truly believe it should be possible to use the Turbo function on the RX6c chip for other usage.
It’s just a pin probably leading to a transistor that gives the motor the 100% juice it needs.
There must be a workaround to directly give the motor the 100% juice using the standard forward button.
I will try to find out where pin14 (turbo function) leads to but perhaps someone on here already knows the trick.:)

I know, I know, it takes some imagination and creativity to think of what to do with more (extra) channels.:D

I’m still wanting to know if it’s indeed possible to use the Turbo pin on the car to fire up someting else?
people told me that the 50% powercut is done internaly in other words inside the RX6C chip…but why is there an output pin?
It is a signal that is transmitted and picked up by the car changin it’s behaviour.
I hope someone can shed a light on this.

    Thanx!

When I want to use the F1 and F2 channel to hook up two more motors would I need, besides the 2mosfets, also 2 resistors?

I bought an LXX perfection and the range on the 27Mhz was 1 meter….I removed the body and with a small screwdriver I adjust the small wheel inside that tower thing thats soldered onto the PCB worked like a charm.

I layed something heavy on the forward button of the transmitter or you can clamp it down, sticking a match between the button and the housing, so the motor will spin and you can walk backwards adjusting the range.

Yo Donor, That’s some crazy shit man! And thanx for welcoming me to the board, I’m fairly new to all this modding and stuff and that’s why I asked for a pic on how to wire the FETS as you did on your small external turbo board leading to the Bit PCB.
I’m like a DUPLO guy you see, I can follow colored wires from the one spot to another…hehehe so when I see what wire goes where to I can do the job too.:D I think I’m not the only one..
    Thanx man!:)

Looks like a killer performance! I wanna do this mod. Can you please make a bigger pic or small diagram on how to exactly hook these mosfets to the PCB? It will save a lot of time answering all kinds of questions…:D
    Thanx!:)

Okay, I bought 2 LXX perfection cars…supercool cars by the way altho I had to adjust the pot meter a bit but let me go on…there are 2 buttons on top of the controler:

    1- Turbo
    2- No idea

These 2 extra channels your talking about is this without the turbo feature included?
I don’t really know how the Turbo feature works altho I understand that in normal mode the motor receives 50% of the battery’ capacity and when the turbo is pressed it gets the full 100%. So this gives me an idea that the turbo feature is also an extra channel.

So lets say I put the switch on the back of the controler in the Turbo mode and I use the Turbo channel as an extra channel this would give the car an extra channel right?:

    left
    right
    backwards
    forwards
1 extra channel on pin 9
1 extra channel on pin 15
Turbo pin 6 which I also want to change

My question is: can you use the Turbo feature for another purpose?:)
